Finished Object All my finished objects during AmiguruMay

Post image

It feels serendipitous that I stumbled into crocheting this May. In my first month, I finished these four amigurumis (Patrick Star from Woobles, Satsuki Cat and Logan Koala from Pica Pau, and Flower Sprite from CritterStitchDesigns) and two granny squares. None of them are perfect, and yet I love them all the same.

I am ecstatic to have found this hobby and this community, as I have not felt as productive and intellectually and creatively curious as I have this past month. From learning stitches and magic circles, to choosing colors, picking yarn weights/fiber, and deciphering patterns, I am a student once again (which I love)!

AmiguruMay may be over, but I am excited to keep learning, growing, and making in the months (and hopefully years) to come. If only I could learn how to resist the temptation to buy more patterns and books, then I’d be all set…

If you began in last May and did all of this in one year - wow! But if you started this May, mind blowing! Did you even sleep? πŸ˜‚

Thank you. Admittedly, I sleep past midnight every day. A month ago it was because of gaming (Pokopia), now it’s because of crocheting. πŸ˜…
