Rewatching Roanoke & I have a question .
When the cop gave Lee a ride home did he leave her there because he didn’t give a crap about helping or is it established that the cops knew the whole time , the history and what goes on in that house ? He didn’t even look scared or surprised. He just left 😭

Im a bit rusty on the season but I always felt like the cops knew about those damn cannibals.

They definitely weren’t trying very hard to find them when they thought they were the ones harassing Matt and Shelby but the cannibals also had a deal with the butcher so I assumed maybe the cops did too and knew some things

I think he knew of the history from what I seen. I can’t remember if it was the Polks but there was one scene where Mama Polk was telling someone they have the cops in their pockets around here. I’m assuming since they have the cops in pockets, the Polks have told the cops about what happens during a blood moon. That and cops have probably died or seen some crazy stuff during a blood moon. That’s just me tho! :)
