anyone else get a random promotion they won't honor?

i got this notification tuesday while driving. i've been planning a birthday trip for a while so i figured they were catching on and tryna incentivize me to book. well that's a good incentive! now suddenly the promotion isn't anywhere in my account and apple can NOT retrieve the push notification or link. customer service said they can't help and i will get nothing because they only honor emails. what the hell just happened??

Haha I’ve been tried to use it but it doesn’t work. I figure you have to do the whole package. But when I contact affirm promotion team they aren’t aware of it. Maybe you can try booking a package and see if you get the discount

i went through the entire process to book one over 2000 and it didn't give me the discount ): customer service basically said it was more like a glitch because i didn't get an email and if it was "real," it would be saved to my account. like bro WHAT

Should have clicked on it to see the T&Cs they say apply. Doesn’t sound like you’ve even tried to contact anyone so I’m still not seeing how “they won’t honor”..

my point is that once i clicked on it, nothing happened. it opened the home page of affirm and didn't say anything about any promotion. and you know notifications disappear forever after you open them once. and, like i said in my post, customer service isn't honoring it. meaning i used the ai chat support, a human agent in chat, and called the customer service line today. they asked to see this very screenshot and said they don't honor push notifications. only emails (which i never got in this instance)

If you dont open an app, your phone will put them to sleep to keep them from stealing your user data, or sending notifications, or using internet data. So app makers make their apps give notifications such as this, so you will open the app, and keep it from being shut down on your phone.

you're so real. shea butter baby to asl was like watching a mastery of the craft in real time. i feel like she hit her stride. vacancy left a lil to be desired but that shit is still amazing!! mobbin in dc takes me through there 😭 i just saw her in atl and i hope you get the opportunity to see her as well!

no :/ and i never got an email so im giving up. tomorrow would've been the expiration date anyways so i sincerely doubt they'll do anything after that. good luck with yours 😪 try calling, they told me they'd honor if i had an email. maybe you can forward them the email and they help out

Yeah they always lie about the interest rates, zero interest etc to get us at checkout then bam 30%
