If it's a guy behind the girl, I usually turn as the girl is walking through and let it go genty. If it's a train of girls, I just keep it open for all of them.

yup, walk the fuck away. Just let go and mosey on. I have to do this all the time simply because nobody does it. People would rather slam a door in your face than hold it for you, it's stupid.

but then you do it and people abuse it too. just can't win.
