Discussion VAR Spoiler

Imagine watching Sky Sports news then ...

BREAKING NEWS "Sky sources understand that the last minute winner at the Etihad which sealed another title for City has been revoked and a freelkick has been awarded to Spurs instead, helping them avoid relegation for the 2nd year running. It appears the ref, VAR and the linesman did think they were offside, but could not be sure , so let the game continue. The FA stepped in to correct the refferees blatant error despite a whole week passing along with parades - others in the game are calling it the Morrocan".

Now imagine how stupid that would be? Only AFCON

I think if CAF wanted to do the right; suspend Senegal from the next Afcon and all Afcon qualifiers will be played out of Morocco or behind closed doors and both will get a substantial fine. This is the best outcome that looks neutral

What did morocco do ? Not sure they did something wrong here.

If they bribed a refree they should be banned from WC end AFCON

Thanks you for explaining. But arent towels illegal in afcon regulations. why should morocco play behind closed doors if Senegal broke the rules bringing an illegal item and not allowing the refree to inspect it.
