Is Rishe Trauma-Resistant? Spoiler

Disclaimer : I might be mixing canon with fanfics, but I think Rishe experienced burning to death before. The church when she was a maid burned, the forest when she was a hunter burned.

Does Rishe show any sign that fires trigger her? And if not, do you think the author has bigger plans? Such as, Rishe is actually still in fight or flight mode that she doesn't have the luxury to feel fear or something?

Fanfics always describe her deaths as painful (as they should be) but in canon, has Rishe ever describe the pain and horror of losing one's life, only to repeat again?!

It’s a feminised power fantasy with an emphasis on social, emotional and intellectual success as well as combat/power. They make the reader/watcher feel good. A realistic portrayal of trauma doesn’t fit the vibe and so isn’t done the same way it’s left out of most animes with a similar plot mechanic. When it is covered it tends to be superficial with a purpose of reminding the reader/watcher of everything the character has overcome and again emphasise their success

Yeahh agreed. I wonder if the author herself has secret drafts of how dark the series could be if she wanted to.

Because one of the things I really like about 7th time loop is how realistic, big, and serious the issues and conflicts are. It's not easy to find stories that execute political and economic conflicts in a satisfying manner. (As an accountant, you have no idea how I screamed when paper-money was brought up lol)

Surely, the author can portray emotionally heavy plots as well. But yeah, I do enjoy the current fantasy world the story is set in

Yeah I think she could. A lot of the other characters act fairly in line with their trauma and she does a great job on the politics. I work in mental health where there’s a lot of traumatised people, but I think I’d be less excited if my work started showing up in the series haha, I mostly watch anime for a break

haha totally valid. The last thing you'd want is another headache. Really hoping for a season 2! If they continue with the 2 books per season pacing, I would really love to see Rishe getting struck with poison, and Book 4's fighting scene animated
