Is Rishe Trauma-Resistant? Spoiler

Disclaimer : I might be mixing canon with fanfics, but I think Rishe experienced burning to death before. The church when she was a maid burned, the forest when she was a hunter burned.

Does Rishe show any sign that fires trigger her? And if not, do you think the author has bigger plans? Such as, Rishe is actually still in fight or flight mode that she doesn't have the luxury to feel fear or something?

Fanfics always describe her deaths as painful (as they should be) but in canon, has Rishe ever describe the pain and horror of losing one's life, only to repeat again?!

I think she buries her trauma and also the author doesn’t want to go too in depth about her trauma either as it’s a choice since I think the author said that before because they are too horrible to even go into but the fanfics in general just talk about that trauma because they can

but I believe there were some minor text that mentioned she’s still sorta triggered by stuff when she remembers or something I can’t pin point the parts but it’s kind of like read in between the lines

I think rn her only fear is dying at 20 again and the war starting which is why she’s hustling rn

Yeah I suppose for commercial purpose, the author wouldn't go too deep into her traumas. Thank goodness for the fanfics tho (we need more. Just having 120+ on ao3 is not enough)

Aww man I don't remember what triggers her. If you do remember, do share haha.

I wonder if her insistence and enthusiasm for Arnold to train her, and learning Galkhein's military tactics is actually a trauma response to repeatedly being killed by them. Like, who would go to the extreme of disguising themselves to do something, except, maybe, a girl who's too traumatized for her own good

If the series spans until 20+ books until Rishe turns 20, I ain't complaining. I'll happily read anxious and traumatized 20y/o Rishe even when I'm old and croaking
