Timing

Is this an acceptable tolerance? Trying to tim my engine and its my first time.

I'm definitely following this post. I'm also planning my first timing change. I haven't made any purchases. Did you buy the kit from Z1? I don't know what options matter....

Id personally go with CZP for the kit. Same price basically and you get some better options

-OEM or gates belt

-OEM tensioner

-NTN idler pulleys

-Upgraded ARP idler studs (definitely recommend, the OEM ones are ass and if improperly installed can snap and take the motor with it. easier to install too since they have a hex end)

Beyond that make sure you have plenty of brake clean and degreaser for cleaning, buy a seal puller tool, and a stud remover tool to make your life easier.
