Need some cheese to go with my whine Chased by a pack of wolves

That’s what it feels like my body thinks is happening when taking care of 2u2 alone lol. Tell me this goes away. My cortisol levels have got to be at an all time high. During nap time I literally just lay horizontal and deep breathe to try to feel normal ☠️

We are technically out of 2under2 but it’s still really hard solo parenting 2 kids. 3 year old and 16 month old and they fight so much now. 3 year old has BIG feelings and everything is a battle. My husband is going on a trip for work next week and I am trying not to let the anxiety get to me…

These are my kids’ ages too and omg THE FIGHTING! Big sister only wants to play with what her brother currently has in his hands and little brother is hitting his sister even when she’s minding her own business and there’s just so much screaming and yelling and it makes me want to tear my hair out! And then they do something sweet like cuddle on the couch or share snacks and I briefly forget what feral little beasts they can be lol. Hang tough and good luck while your husband is gone!

I relate to this so much. Honestly, a great description. I think I’ve been in fight or flight since my second (2mo) was born. Sorry I can’t offer hope that it gets better, but I empathize and I’m right there in the trenches with you!

I’m going to have a few solo days, maybe up to a week and I’m already anxious. And tired.
