Character Description

If you were asked to describe Percy Prettybody in a word, I think ”vainglorious" would be suitable. Born into old Southern money he's never had to want for anything, nor work for it. There was a silver spoon in his mouth the day he was born, and nothing has changed since.

Formerly vainglorious, Prettybody saw the light, and realised that to get ahead in this business, you have to work smart. Now he's back to recapture his former glory, and take what is rightfully his: the WiR World Championship. Forced into ballet and piano classes because his parents thought it would culture him, he actually ended up enjoying the ballet and it comes in useful in his job here at WiR. And it was only chance that led him to WiR, as a friend of his needed a ride to the rookie tryout camp. Moxie overheard Percy cutting promos on all of the rookies trying to make people laugh and thought ”he may need a bit of body work, but the guy sure can talk”. And before the camp was over, Percy had managed to become one of the six new rookies to be signed to WiR.

Appearance

Standing six foot even and weighing in at three hundred and sixty pounds, Percy is a whole lot of man. Shaggy/curly hair that's basically white in color. In the ring he wears a pair of white cowboy style wrestling boots with periwinkle accents, white kneepads, periwinkle trunks with PP embroidered on the hip in white, a white pad on his left elbow and his wrists and finger joints are wrapped in white tape.

Outside the ring, Percy dresses with a mix of white trash and high class. Somedays it'll be a pair of sweatpants with a tank top and others it's a thousand dollar suit.

WiR Career

His debut match will take place at the PPV "The Good, The Bad and the Tweeners" where he will take part in the Rookie Rumble.

8/23/15 - A somewhat interesting debut in the Rookie Rumble at "The Good, The Bad and The Tweeners" had Percy Prettybody emerge victorious after basically playing dead the entire match. He's also probably the first WiR athlete to win a match without using one single wrestling move. This win also qualified him for the 2015 AMUDOV tournament.

Announcer: And coming to the ring...

[As the bass kicks in and the tempo begins to flare to life, the curtain at the top of the ramp snaps out and out slides the bees knees & the cats meow himself, Percy Prettybody.]

Announcer: Hailing from Jackson, Mississippi

[Percy still stands at the top of the ramp, his almost white shaggy/curly hair is wet from either sweat or water, who can really say? His white cowboy themed wrestling boots are trimmed in periwinkle, white kneepads on both knees, periwinkle trunks with "PP" embroidered on the hip in white, a white pad on his left elbow and his wrists and finger joints are taped in white. Did I mention the periwinkle feather boa?]

Announcer: Standing six foot even and tipping the scales at THREE-HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SIX POUNDS...

[Making his way down the isle with a mix of strutting and shimmying, Percy is all smiles as the crowd covers him in a chorus of jeers. Finally reaching the ring he climbs the steel steps, wipes his boots on the mat apron and bounds between the ropes into the ring, arms raised as he soaks in his "adoration".]

Announcer: Here is... PER-CY! PRETTYYYY-BODDYYYYYY!

[Percy rushes to a corner and perches himself on the bottom rope, firing his right hand in the air and holding on to the top with his left. Still all smiles, still he's oblivious. Stepping down he removes his boa and hands it to Miss Amy, then begins lightly hopping from one foot to the other awaiting the bell.]
