This half brother is in for a bloody and horrible death. No one is buying his, "I'm a real Viking! I swear." They just tolerate him.

I wonder when Floki dies will the gods finally be kind to him and let him see Ragnar standing at the gates of Valhalla welcoming him in. At this point, Hirst is being cruel to that character for sake of being cruel.

Jan 17 '19
Booty juice makes great beard fertilizer, just ask Bjorn
18
u/redeyedreams Jan 17 '19
Dude should of stayed with Torvi she got like 2 years older over the span of decades.

Somehow, Ivar and his newfound telepathy managed to deduce that Thora was guilty of defacing his statue.
He is a god.

His own fault for wanting every taken woman. There are plenty of single shieldmaidens who would give their left arm to be with him.

my guess with Ivar's "son" is that he has some kind of cleft lip(the woman says he "cannot nurse at the breast")

I like how the costume department has updated the armor over the generations. When Ragnar was young and Bjorn was a kid, no one wore those helmets. Two generations later, here are the helmets.

I like how they are showing that despite the English being Christian, they still cling to the pagan ways when it comes things like healing. Healer/village witches were quite common during this time.
14
u/j3w3lry Jan 17 '19
I’d rather go to a witch than bloodletting, which is probably the first thing they would do to Judith.

Uh what evidence does Ivar have that she did it. Did I miss something
20
u/LawrenStewart Jan 17 '19
Hirst was too lazy to write evidence of course so he just magically knows.

Him being a "Buddha"-like figure would explain the elongating earrings. Nice costume design.

Challenging a son of Ragnar might be the coolest thing this guy ever does.
8
u/inksmudgedhands Jan 17 '19
Ivar pulling a Ragnar with his own son. Only this baby will not be as lucky as he was.
9
u/inksmudgedhands Jan 17 '19
What if the gods only wanted Floki on the island. For him to be their servant like Ganymede. Everyone else was expendable.
