How did he bring that baby out there? Did he crawl with the baby?

103

u/inksmudgedhands Jan 17 '19

This half brother is in for a bloody and horrible death. No one is buying his, "I'm a real Viking! I swear." They just tolerate him.

197

u/VirulentViper Jan 17 '19

This flashback of Ragnar's death is the greatest part of Season 5

13

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '19

Well done.

81

King Frodo's looking like he just climbed out of a 90's euro metal band.

73

u/OrneryPenguin Jan 17 '19

How did Ivar crawl out there with the baby on his own?

76

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '19

Carried Baldur in his mouth

Lagertha power move.

14

u/inksmudgedhands Jan 17 '19

Seriously. It's not like they go to the corner Michael's for it.

Vikings actually doing Viking shit on Vikings?!

48

u/inksmudgedhands Jan 17 '19

I wonder when Floki dies will the gods finally be kind to him and let him see Ragnar standing at the gates of Valhalla welcoming him in. At this point, Hirst is being cruel to that character for sake of being cruel.

14

u/ayyoub19u Jan 17 '19

life is cruel my friend

71

u/thepeoplessgt Jan 17 '19

It looks like he just hit puberty each episode

12

u/DanyeelsAnulmint Warriors don't show their heart. The axe reveals it. Jan 17 '19

He is far less developed physically than the rest.

9

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '19

Him and Ivar got babyfaces

11

u/redeyedreams Jan 17 '19

Hes gotta eat more booty and get his beard game up.

9

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '19

Booty juice makes great beard fertilizer, just ask Bjorn

18

u/redeyedreams Jan 17 '19

Dude should of stayed with Torvi she got like 2 years older over the span of decades.

Somehow, Ivar and his newfound telepathy managed to deduce that Thora was guilty of defacing his statue.

He is a god.

67

u/Cameron_Blalock Jan 17 '19

I bet when ubbe says ”I challenge you to a 1v1” it's going to cut and we have to wait a week

17

u/Sin_the_Insane Jan 17 '19

Pretty much

33

u/VirulentViper Jan 17 '19

So this girl and Bjorn have known each other for what.. 3 weeks? Oh wait they time jump without telling anyone so it's probably been a year

30

u/themkane Jan 17 '19

That was one good fucking scene.. aaaah the feels

28

u/inksmudgedhands Jan 17 '19

His own fault for wanting every taken woman. There are plenty of single shieldmaidens who would give their left arm to be with him.

28

u/Skwangtang Jan 17 '19

Baldur gonna survive only to have his neck snapped by Kratos

51

u/Cameron_Blalock Jan 17 '19

Is it me it is there really good cinematography this episode?

20

u/pickle_man_4 MY MOTHER TOLD ME Jan 17 '19

23

special place in hell for people who decide to put commercials at 21:56 followed by the show's end credits.

38

u/William_T_Wanker Jan 17 '19

my guess with Ivar's "son" is that he has some kind of cleft lip(the woman says he "cannot nurse at the breast")

This Viking has Floki's eyeliner game.

I like how the costume department has updated the armor over the generations. When Ragnar was young and Bjorn was a kid, no one wore those helmets. Two generations later, here are the helmets.

37

u/VirulentViper Jan 17 '19

Floki is too good for this show

37

u/inksmudgedhands Jan 17 '19 edited Jan 17 '19

I like how they are showing that despite the English being Christian, they still cling to the pagan ways when it comes things like healing. Healer/village witches were quite common during this time.

14

u/j3w3lry Jan 17 '19

I’d rather go to a witch than bloodletting, which is probably the first thing they would do to Judith.

16

u/sgSaysR Jan 17 '19

FINALLY they aged her.

OMG she's witnessing Ragnar's death and is the one handling the serpent

20

u/LawrenStewart Jan 17 '19
