I made it for a Minecraft server, the green resembled emeralds, and the purple was meant to resemble…something. I don’t remember honestly. The black dot was meant to resemble the “black spot” as the nation we designed was meant to be pirate related. it’s horrible, I know. I give you full permission to flame it in the comments lol. Me and my friends liked the color combination, and basically reverse engineered the design into the meaning. Remember, we were 13. If it helps, the area was a sandy shore/beach with seaside villages and stone houses. Feel free to re-imagine it in the best way possible, as this is a surprise for my old friend group. I want to make a nonbinary pin for my bag (I'm nonbinary) but my family and people around me might notice it, and since I'm still closeted, I need excuses to what is this flag and why do I wear it. Something like "oh it's a flag of Morocco and it's a symbol of anti-slavery movement because Morocco was the first country to ban slavery" and considering they can look it up later, I need some similar looking flag that can be confused with the nonbinary flag

I'm working on a possible sequel idea for Project Hail Mary, and it includes a new nation known as the "Saharan Caliphate". For reasons that make sense if you've read Project Hail Mary, the Sahara Desert is a very important piece of land to own. An fairly benevolent yet powerful empire arises there, an Islamic Caliphate that also has pretty good human rights. Though let's be clear - the formation of the Caliphate was anything but peaceful.

Anyway, the Saharan Caliphate encompasses chunks (or the entirety of in some cases) of the former nations of Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Western Sahara, Sudan and Tunisia. There are countless subcultures within the Caliphate. The official language is Arabic and the official religion is Islam.

Any ideas for a flag would be appreciated.

As the title says, I'd like to make a flag out of this. I tried to make a flag myself, but it didn't work out so well because the cow is behind the grass and it's hard to cut it out to make it look good.
