Got this thing so I can start to transition my interior to black with oxblood accents and more easily wire up my killswitch without it being obvious that the wiring isn't *exactly* kosher. Found a place that printed out and put the logo on for free. Real nice guys. I'll keep y'all updated.

Rust likes to form behind both driver and passenger side fenders. This pic is off a parts car, but i know on my main m45 that it's also there, and that car has been a southern car all its life. So seeing it on both makes me think it's a hotspot for rust. If you got an M, try and see if it's there and stop it before it spreads more.

I found a small oil leak. So I figured at 160k, it’s time to replace the valve cover gaskets. Also figured I might as well take care of the one in the plenum as well as changing the plugs since everything was gonna be off. Started yesterday and I’m happily done now. My back!!!!

So my beloved workhorse 2011 fx35 fuel gauge has been broken for awhile and I’m tired of setting the trip counter and ignoring the check engine 😂
I replaced the passenger side unit with the pump and sensor and that didn’t resolve so I moved on to the drivers side one and that’s where the head scratching came in…
I ordered the drivers side sensor from Infiniti parts USA and what I received didn’t look like what I was replacing…the part checks out (250601CB1C) but the new part has an additional ground lead and a little doodad at the end of itwhere my existing part and housing only has a single hot and ground lead…anybody encountered this? Infiniti parts says it’s right and won’t engage further. do I need to get a whole new housing or what?

Anyone knows which sensor or part connects here? It is right under passenger headlight. It is on 2024 QX50

Looking for some advice from the community. I have a 2016 Q50 3.0T with only 44k miles. I was experiencing some odd loss of power issues and shaking so I took it in the dealership for service. They ran tests and some of the bigs ones were:
When they did the diagnostics, they got the bad codes at the same time and are trying to tell me to replace the cats now while they have the engine fully out due to the Turbo replacement.
How do they know for sure that the cats didnt read bad because of the Turbos and multiple other collateral damage. Is that possible? and if the cats are bad, wasnt that most likely due to the fault Turbos and oil leakage - could have wrecked them.
Has anyone gone through this experience with the Turbos? and if yes, did you have similar Cat trouble? --- this car has only been driven 5k miles in 2 years (which is the last time I went that same dealership for a small issue), could the cats get destroyed that fast? Any advice from the community would be greatly appreciated.
