It seems very similar to Discord, and I would love to use IFTTT to post Youtube Videos automatically to my Fluxer Server.

I’m sure it’s been mentioned before, but it bears repeating. I’m a programmer. I understand using webhooks to call an applet from an applet; however, non technical users do not. It would make it easier for many users if this was a native function within IFTTT to enable an applet to call another applet. Thanks for the consideration.

When I’m building or updating applets, I always have to search for my services to create another action. The suggested or featured services are not what I need. Please consider adding a section to the top of Services named My Services that shows my configured and connected services first in alphabetical order. This will go a long way towards improving usability and preventing unnecessary keystrokes to always have to search for my enabled services. Thanks.

I’ve been using IFTTT for years and we still don’t have the ability to reorder actions. It’s ridiculous to have to delete actions then recreate them if we make an error in action order. I hope the team is working to add this functionality because it is badly needed.

I’m at a loss, I’ve failed and failed to make it find a n IfTTT that’ll text me (or remind me but my brain tends to ignore them) NOT just because I’ve added a certain event to my calendar, but because , days later, it IS the day of the event .

All the options I’ve seen are ones that just remind me. It doesn’t work with my actual situation.

I assume some c context will clarify , and I’m sorry if there’s spelling errors, my screen is acting up.

Basically , I sometimes book an all day event called “iann” , days or even a week in advance. I need a reminder that tells me to make the special tea before leaving the. House in the morning.

Why is it so difficult for ifttt to have logical triggers. I don’t mean filter code, or webhooks, just simple feature—I mean if this and that then. Or if this not that… I’ve been a ifttt pro user whatever that means for probably 7 yrs now. What gives?

In the web version of Threads, clicking on the share icon lets you generate a sharepic. I'm using an applet for pushing my threads to Day One. In the past, I used a similar applet for Twitter/X and could save a pic of the tweet along with the text.

Is something like this planned/already possible?

I have been using 2 applets in IFTTT to fetch RSS articles from a website to Raindrop. Today I got an email saying one of my applets stopped working. When I checked my I account, the applet had a pro tag. Now I can't make any applets without subscribing to IFTTT pro...

I would like help or information to set up a specific routine for a Blink camera system.

I have 6 Blink cameras on my system. 4 exterior home cams including doorbell cam and 2 interior cameras. The 4 outside cams are always on with motion detection. My 2 interior cams I want to turn on motion detection when I leave and turn off when I arrive home.

Right now I have to open my Blink app, scroll to each interior cam and enable motion detection with numerous taps for each.

I don't need inside cams recording when I am home.

Is there any way to automate the motion detection for individual cams based on presence sensing at a location?

I have my smart lights set up to turn off specific lights when I leave and turn them on when. I return. This is with Google home.

Looking for similar set up for cams on blink system.

To be clear, my system is armed at all times for the outside cams. It is only the motion detection for inside cams I want to automatically turn on/off

Hi everyone, I've been trying to move some of my workflows to iOS reminders but sadly I just discovered there's a few fields missing like adding notes or flagging the reminder, could this be added?

I also found a bug (I think) when writing just "today" in the alarm date field of the app, the expected result would be a reminder set to today's date but with no specific time, instead every reminder gets a time added (looks like 12 hours from when it was created), or maybe am I missing something and this is expected behavior?

EDIT: As many of you still find this post, you can find an official response here. Since posting, 3 more languages have been added to Google Assistant: Norwegian, Traditional Chinese & Italian. However, still no update to the IFTTT support.

As of now Google Assistant is available in 16¹ languages. IFTTT only supports Google Assistant integration for the 6 languages in bold.

English, Hindi, Indonesian, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, Swedish, Norwegian^1, Traditional Chinese¹ & Italian^1.

Those of you who are familiar with Stringify may have gotten an email saying that they are shutting down. Since IFTTT doesn’t have the functionality to have multiple triggers and AND/OR logic, with their closure I think the company really needs to expand to cover this category since no other one really does it very well. For being in the automation field I’m kind of surprised IFTTT hasn’t added this functionality yet

Hi all, the twitter to discord integration on the Pro plan is so very close to what I want, except I just want to change the URL from "twitter.com" to "fixupx.com" and it looks like that requires me to pay for the Pro+ plan to get access to filters?

I really don't need the full power of filters for this. Honestly I would love if the twitter integration just lets you choose what URL it sends as since this is probably a common use case.

And I'm also aware of how expensive the twitter API is, that's why I'm not asking for this to be free, but I am already a paying customer on the Pro subscription and I just want to make a tweak to the URL being sent.

IFTTT, we gotta talk. You're destroying your own platform from the inside out. Of course you already know this, which begs the question - Why? Because despite the number of complaints from those who simply don't want to pay, those of us who do pay have virtually nothing to show for it.

I understand that 3rd party apps have their own prerogative when it comes to playing nice with IFTTT - protocols, connectivity, app and firmware updates, etc., is always subject to change, leaving IFTTT to adapt or be left in the dust - but my only legitimate gripe continues to be the limitations of the IFTTT platform itself. To name a few...

(1) Where users expect simplicity (IE, a delete button), there is none.

(2) Where typical functionality should exist within applets (IE, a timer or wait period to insert between actions), it does not.

(3) Where a user profile with saved information such as a home address should exist so users don't have to search on a map for their address every time they create an applet with a location function, it's missing entirely.

(4) An issue I've repeatedly complained about - the inability to reuse an action within an applet. I have several doors I want to lock with a single applet and although can add the 1st door with the + button, select "Lock", then select which door to lock, I can't click the + button again to add the 2nd door because the Lock option is GONE. WWHHYYYYY?

In short, I want an applet that (1) Upon my arrival at home, (2) unlocks both my gate and my back door, then (3) turns on my (4) patio lights, then finally (5) turns off the patio lights after 5 minutes. A simple applet and yet none of this is possible with IFTTT.

So I ask, IFTTT, what are you doing to address such fatally fixable flaws? Because until we have answers I vote we rename IFTTT to OHFFS.

We've noticed that your account has been inactive for a while and we have turned off your Applets.

While you're definitely not the only one to disable inactive accounts (completely understandable) you're definitely the ONLY one that shuts stuff off without warning first!

Has anyone had any luck at all getting the Group Location to work reliably?

I have two phones in a group, one is Android and the other iPhone. The iPhone has never triggered an applet and the Android has worked less than 10% of the time.

This could be such a useful feature if it actually worked. IFTTT support recommended changing some phone settings but the changes didn't help. Wondering if anyone has suggestions for making this work right or it I should just give up. I was very excited to discover group location because it enables you to do some cool things but it is unusable.

I use an applet that archives Liked tweets. But could IFTTT make a version for archiving Bookmarked tweets instead of Likes? This would be super useful as Bookmarks are a more curated selection of tweets I'd like to archive. It'd be great if it also preserved the Bookmark categories for premium X accounts.

Muting your phone at night - to do so just based on time is clumsy. It is just an example but you could imagine combined with extra conditions this would be so much smarter.

If at home AND Lights are off AND after 11pm THEN mute my phone .

Part of the success of IFTTT is that it is simple, so I understand if there is reluctance to complicate it.

I would think that one could do this in a new channel, either IFTTT themselves or even a 3rd party.

The channel would have actions to define and set custom variables, and then triggers that allowed AND and OR actions when variables changed.

I desperately want to switch, but posting to all of these new networks is a pain. I would love to automate it. But no services seem to acknowledge their existence.

Please please please please add these networks. Hell if you allowed it I'd do all the work needed to add them for free. I will gladly pay monthly if it means I can automate these services.

Why tf would you make a delay, that can choose between 15,30,45 seconds… but can’t choose less than 5 minutes. Kinda pointless to add seconds if I can’t choose 2 minutes right? 45 seconds or 5 minutes… choose one or the other.

And while I’m ranting, how about allowing the delay to be placed between actions. Do this, delay 2min 30 seconds, do this, delay 1:45, do that.

Do the developers need someone like me to give you ideas or maybe poke holes in the ideas you have? I’m available and would do this au gratis.

Hi All, is it allowed to request an IFTT to see if other people could use the same functionality and someone technical would be willing to make it?

Often, my audible progress resets for no reason. Audible is unwilling to provide a clear listening history log so I turned to IFTT. It would be great to have an applet running that would save the time stamps whenever you pause, this would save many frustrating minutes of looking for where you left off. For me personally it doesn’t matter where it saves this time stamp, but google sheets makes sense I think.

Do people share the feeling that this would be useful? And is someone willing and able to make it? I can’t program unfortunately but am of course willing to help however possible.
