Any Liberal States good for homesteading?

My husband and I are looking to find a place where we can settle, garden, raise goats animals. I've been looking at a lot of "top rated States to homestead in" type lists online and noticed the pattern that most listed are extremely red states. We are generally pretty liberal so I was wondering what were good states to homestead in that are more liberal politically. I did a search but couldn't find any real answers. Does anyone have any experience or reccomendations?

I prefer to live around people that value human life. Period. Immigrants are human beings, so are trans. And as a women I deserve to choose what happens to my body. And I definitely won’t want a neighbor who worships pedophiles and billionaires . Not the type of neighbor I want my kids to be around. 🤦‍♀️
