Any Liberal States good for homesteading?

My husband and I are looking to find a place where we can settle, garden, raise goats animals. I've been looking at a lot of "top rated States to homestead in" type lists online and noticed the pattern that most listed are extremely red states. We are generally pretty liberal so I was wondering what were good states to homestead in that are more liberal politically. I did a search but couldn't find any real answers. Does anyone have any experience or reccomendations?

It will matter when Trump causes a civil war šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø and youā€™re describing a Karen not a liberal. Karenā€™s are MAGA. šŸ™„

The only way Trump will cause a civil war is by being assassinated. Itā€™s the liberal Karenā€™s that killā€™s people they donā€™t like. Kirk and thee attempts on Trump in just about two years.
