This is happening for Covington, Boston, New Mexico, and New Hampshire. It will start in September. Other sites will be working towards the same goal but have to work out space issues.

Saw this cat on our walk today, on scott st between 21st and 20th. she came right up to us and was so friendly, followed us for nearly a block, and was really skinny. she’s got her ear tipped which means she was a catch-and-release (aka a stray who’s been given vaccines and spayed) but she was so skinny and friendly it makes me think she was a house cat who got out? she’s also a bengal which tends to be an expensive breed. anyone know anything or recognize her?

I built something that shows noise levels + parking before you go
calmpathlocal.com It's been awesome to see more and more people using this frequently and adding to the data quality. Check this out before going out this weekend!

I'm having a crawfish boil for my birthday party at my grandparents house in covington. I am also having a small petting zoo. I wasnt expecting it to rain, but now it's looking likely. Does anyone know where I could get reliable tents in case it rains? At first I wanted to rent, but it seems rentals cost the same, if not more, as just buying. My party is the 25th.

Hey yall. Been busy recently so haven't been following news or commisioners meetings, but with the new CovCivic app it was easy for me to see that our city is about to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on new cop cars. Including nearly $200,000 on Teslas. We already spent $500,000 within the last 5 years on expanding the police fleet.
Cops don't need Teslas. If they don't have enough cars they should be walking the streets or riding their bikes to entrench themselves in the community they are policing.
I would encourage yall to contact the commisioners or to attend a meeting and let them know they are wasting your money so cops can ride in $100,000 dollar cars.

I'm hosting a wedding welcome party in Covington for around 40 people in a couple weeks. I am looking for a quality pizza joint (delivery or carryout) that's under 15-20 minutes away. Bonus points if their sides and salads are good.
I used to like Dewey's but haven't had it in over a decade and have heard it's not that good anymore. St Francis Apizza looks good but it's almost 30 minutes away across the river.
Let me know your suggestions! I am looking for all-around yummy and hopefully fresh-tasting grub! Thanks!

Moving for school in Cincinnati. If you were to choose, which area would provide the most city like feel with walkable, safe, and fun areas to live? Deciding between Covington and Newport, but also have no idea where to choose within those two options, especially for young people. Would love some advice on this. Thank you!

Every time I think I've seen the people in charge of this city do the dumbest shit anyone can possibly come up with...they kick it up another notch.
The street I live on has weekly cleaning on Tuesday. Or, well, it has weekly ticketing. Sometimes they do the cleaning...
Tried to move the car around the corner so it doesn't get ticketed...and they've put up temporary signs saying Tuesday street cleaning, no parking.
Tried the cross street in the other direction. No parking.
The road parallel to the north? No parking.
The road parallel to the south? No parking.
There is literally no legal parking anywhere in my neighborhood at this moment.
Does anyone know what knuckle-dragging dipshit posts these signs? Or who's in charge of him? I'm assuming it's like a metal rod or a bucket of sand running that department.
Before moving here, I had never encountered a whole city being entirely run by a squad of velco-shoe-wearing, uncrustable-loving, nascar-watching puerile dipshits. It didn't even seem possible. But they're here. And they're in charge. Fucking wild.
Is there a place to report that your elected officials have traumatic brain injuries? Will the state help us?
edit: after completely vacating my neighborhood for Tuesday morning, I put my car back Tuesday night.
Wednesday morning they placed another sign directly by my car and left me a ticket.
unbefuckinglievable.
p.s. also they didn't sweep any of the side streets

Yall, house hunting around here is so discouraging. As soon as something pops up in a decent price range it’s either an absolute catfish or it’s snatched up in 12 hours. It’s CRAZY.

Hi all. I matched at the University of Cincinnati and will be starting residency there next year. I’m planning to live in Northern Kentucky. Could you tell me where the best and safest apartments to consider are in the area? Thank you!

Hello, I am relocating for a job in downtown Cincy. I am looking for a safe apartment in NKY and desperately need recommendations.
I am looking in Erlanger, Florence, Covington, Newport, etc. Anything that is a reasonable drive to Cincinnati.
It is just me and a cat so a one bedroom will do. Hoping to keep the price at $1,000 or under.

I just added a way to verify or correct the info for places (parking, noise, restrooms, layout).
If something looks wrong, you can fix it in like 5 seconds. No typing.
If the place is accurate, give it a thumbs up.
Goal is to make this something you’d actually check before going somewhere new. Eventually I'll add things like, "Verified by 20 visitors".
If you try it, I’d love feedback, even if it’s just “not helpful”.
THANK YOU EVERYONE!
