Phoebe S4 Phoebe’s bangs are just…. Why
This was by far the worst hair Alyssa Milano ever had🤣 I had these bangs when I was 3 years old, because I stole scissors and cut them myself!
Also it’s hilarious that this is the behind the scenes photo op that came up when I searched for images from this episode 😂😂
But the second & 3rd photo… GORGEOUS. PERFECT. How did we get here who helped her make this terrible decision?! Her hair was literally a dream before she chopped and dyed so aggressively

Phoebe Phoebe Halliwell is the most selfish character ever put on television
To start off, this is not a hate-post against Charmed as a whole, it’s one of my favorite series of all time but I can’t help but notice the cracks the more I rewatch. The sister’s selfishness and lack of heroic qualities is nothing new to discuss among the fandom but sometimes it’s so egregiously awful that it actually makes me angry
I caught a rerun of Saving Private Leo (4x17) and was reminded why Phoebe’s so hated. I get that Source!Cole was manipulating events and purposefully trying to put a wedge between the sisters but that really doesn’t excuse her awful behavior. It was SUCH a bitch move for her to not only blow off stopping a pair of murderous ghosts to go on a date with the man she sees 24/7 but then she throws a huge bitch fit and starts whining about how she wants to move out to start a life with Cole and how unfair it is that she has to save innocent lives instead of being free to pursue her own selfish desires. ALL IN FRONT OF PAIGE, WHO HER AND PIPER LITERALLY GUILT-TRIPPED AND STRONG-ARMED INTO MOVING INTO THE MANOR THAT VERY SAME SEASON
Like it’s totally realistic that these characters have wants and get frustrated with their responsibilities but it’s almost EVERY episode and eventually trying to get them to do anything with the plot is like pulling teeth. I genuinely do no understand why the crew would write their main heroes to be so utterly unheroic and unsympathetic, especially the character whose entire personality supposedly revolves around her being so empathetic and emotionally in touch with others. Don’t get me wrong, Piper is selfish too but it feels worse with Phoebe. Piper openly admits and accepts the fact that she’s selfish whereas Phoebe always tries to paint herself as some tragic martyr who is being punished by the universe.
[EDIT: My disdain is reserved solely for Phoebe in season 3 and onward. Season 1-2 Phoebe was my homegirl and I mourn her everyday]

Phoebe Why can Pheobe levitate?
I know its an evolution of her powers but HOW??? how does levitating link with intuition?

Phoebe In honor of Alyssa Milano's 53rd birthday, what's your favorite Phoebe quote?
I know I'm gonna expect some one liners from that mangy monkey episode, but everyone has their own favorites. So feel free to post in the comments!

Phoebe So sad that we didnt get to see this type of power again on screen, only comic books utilized it
It was really cool, offensive power of phoebe but in the actual show we never see it evolce into this aside from the beginning when she sees herself killing a person with it

Phoebe She looked so stunning during S3 😍 I can't believe they told her to lose weight back then. Absolutely ridiculous 🙄
😍😍😍

Phoebe "I think I did something REALLY BAD."
I know some say Alyssa looks like Shannen in this scene with her hair and her all-black look, but she gives me a chuckle here.

Phoebe Phoebe never grieved for her baby
The biggest frustration with season 4 is always Phoebe losing her baby and then NEVER mentioning it again. We go straight from womb raider to the final episode, and all is forgotten. Season 5 only focuses on her split from Cole and not the loss of her child ??
Regardless of the fact the Seer said it was ‘never yours’ she was pregnant for months and was looking forward to being a mother.
What adds insult to injury, is that in season 7 Phoebe has a premonition of having a child and that becomes the reason she wants children in season 8, never referring her previously expecting a baby. So much could have done with Phoebes character and how it affected her.

Phoebe They did Phoebe sooooo dirty! 🥲
Poor girl finally gained some useful active power to beat those sorry asses and they just took it away from her.
I really don't get the argument some fans often use that using her empathy power this way would make her overpowered. So what? Prue could send demons fly, Piper could blast them, Paige could attack with her teleorbing power. Why couldn't Phoebe just deflect demons' powers by her empathy and finally make herself equal to her sisters in witchy way?
If they wanted to limit this power somehow, they could make some upper level demons immune to her empathy power, as some of them were also immune to Piper's freezing and blowing up, for example, so nobody could say Phoebe is overpowered. I just think after years being constantly viewed as "weak" and "negligible", she deserved better. Instead of that they got rid her of all her powers. Most of the time she was totally useless in fights against demons, especially in S8. sigh
What are your thoughts? Do you have any different ideas how could Phoebe use her empathy to be powerful enough but not too much?

Phoebe This character gets too much hate
It's a shame that Phoebe is often the target of unfair criticism. Many people don't take the time to understand the intricacies of his character and miss important aspects of his development. For example, her non-existent relationship with her father profoundly influenced the way she interacted with men. Likewise, the loss of her baby in season 4 is a significant event which guides several of her choices thereafter, notably her desire to have a child and to achieve certain personal goals.
She is also criticized for her relationship with Cole for various reasons, but it is important to remember that all of the sisters have had problematic relationships, and yet none are attacked as much as Phoebe. Some even blame him for the decline in quality of the series in the last seasons, when many of the worst storylines had no connection with it. Many criticize her for having faults, but that is precisely what makes her human, just like her sisters, who are not perfect either. Yes, she switched to the side of evil at one point, but it is precisely this dark side that makes her a complex and interesting character. However, her sisters' mistakes do not provoke the same indignation as Phoebe's.
Another source of hatred towards Phoebe comes from those who confuse the character with the actress. Some, because of the tensions on the set, transfer their animosity towards Alyssa onto Phoebe. This is not only unfair, but also a shame, because Alyssa wasn't the only one causing trouble behind the scenes. Many fans pit Phoebe against Prue, which further fuels this hatred.
What is particularly unfortunate is that many hateful messages towards Phoebe are poorly argued and often toxic. Detractors frequently forget key moments in the story or take Phoebe's actions out of context. They simply pretend to give their opinion, but the real problem is not the difference of opinion, but the way in which these criticisms are expressed, often with aggression and malice. This goes well beyond a simple disagreement.
There is too much negativity and unwarranted hatred directed at Phoebe. It's time to recognize that she is a complex character with great development.

Phoebe What the heck was this "relationship" about?
Why? 😩
Was it really necessary? Just for the purpose of Phoebe having a man? They had like zero chemistry.

Phoebe Why don’t they know?!?!
Why don’t they realize and know that ISNT THE SEER ?!?!?! Like they had already looked her up in the BOS, and they saw her powers and ens she can do and they saw her teleport out also and she DOESNT flame out!!! Or have fireballs like the SOURCE!!! This infuriates me beyond belief because the figured out that someone was sabotaging the wedding after Paige mentions everything that’d going wrong but they can’t tell hey there’s no possible way that’s the seer because she has none of those powers but they just accept it as yup it’s the seer…. While they’re LITERALLY SEEING THE SOURCES POWERS BEING USED IN FRONT OF THEM!! Powers they saw when they were vanquishing him and powers they saw when he was trying to turn Paige!!!! Like come on why make them look like they’re stupid and can’t connect the bigger dots… when there’s sooooo many dots to connect to say ITS THE FREAKING SOURCE AGAIN!!!
Paige is literally the only one who is suspicious of him before even Phoebe who’s his wife and like seriously you can’t tell that there’s something wrong and that j s evil SPECIALLY WHEN YOU KNOW HOW HE BEHAVED WHEN HE WAS BALTHAZAAR?!?!

Phoebe Phoebe had an evil side of her from the start.
I don't understand why some people consider Phoebe becoming Queen of Hell to be out of character, or even that her relationship with Cole is out of character. All this has been part of her character since season 1. Her relationship with Cole echoes her past life, when she was an evil witch. From the beginning, it is said that Phoebe represses a dark side within herself that can resurface if it is fueled.
Season 1, episode "Is There a Woogy in the House?" : it is said that she is more likely than her sisters to turn to evil.
Season 2, episode "Morality Bites": she discovers a future where she killed a man out of revenge. This shows that she is capable of doing the irreparable.
Season 2, episode "Pardon My Past": she discovers that she was an evil witch in a past life, in love with a demonic wizard. It's a mirror of her relationship with Cole.
Season 2, episode "Apocalypse, Not": one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse tells her that she looks like a demon.
Starting in season 3, she falls in love with Cole, a demon. Even discovering his true nature, she chooses to love him.
In short, nothing that happens in season 4 is inconsistent. It is the logical continuity of his arc, a culmination of his character. It's a shame, because this plot, which should have been central to all of season 5, was rushed through in a few episodes, because the producers weren't sure they could continue the series.

Phoebe It’s crazy how charmed is terrible with continuity but then also nails it sometimes like I’ve never noticed Phoebe says “hello” this much all the way into season 8 and I’ve seen charmed millions of times😭even little Phoebe said it lol
Saw this on Yt from a channel called “the Combuster”

Phoebe "THE DEMON MONKEY STOLE MY HEARING!"
Alyssa's one liners in this episode are absolute comedic platinum, especially when she's playing charades with Rose in the kitchen!

Phoebe Its interesting to wonder how it'd be so different if phoebe died instead.
Shannen/prue deff would've been able to carry that same weight piper carried when mourning. Prue and holly mourning at the same time would be devastating but peak acting. And ofc we can all agree prue really would've struggled with blaming herself as the protector/eldest. Credit to op for giving us an idea of what prue would be like in that scenario.
