Free! First grief jog/walk & coffee club for young adults this Saturday in Bristol
Hi, I’m Luke and I run a community called Too Young To Grieve for young people navigating grief and loss.
After losing my dad, one thing I struggled with a lot was feeling like there weren’t really spaces for young people dealing with grief to connect with others who genuinely understood it.
Over the last few months we’ve started building relaxed runs/jogs/walks and coffee meet ups for young people navigating grief, loss and mental health struggles, and this weekend we’re bringing the first Bristol one together led by Emma.
The idea is very simple.
No pressure to open up or talk about anything heavy - just getting outside, movement, coffee and being around people who understand.
Some people come for the walk/jog, some people come more for the conversations afterwards, and most people actually come alone for the first time.
One thing we’ve loved most about these meet ups recently is seeing how quickly strangers connect when there’s already a shared understanding there.
You don’t have to be a runner to come down, everyone’s welcome.
We’ve also got a WhatsApp community where people stay connected between events and meet ups.
Would love to have some people from Bristol join us this weekend. Feel free to share this with someone who might need it 🤍
