i know its a sitcom and they needed the airport scene but this is such lazy writing lol

all they needed was one line saying tsa wouldnt let it through or they had to gate check it or something

Howard brings a rare board game from the 1980s worth thousands of dollars. During the game, Sheldon accidentally spills Thai food on one of the cards.

Everyone freezes. Howard loses his mind because the card is supposedly irreplaceable.

To avoid telling Howard the truth, Leonard secretly buys a replacement online.The replacement turns out to be a counterfeit.Raj buys another one from a collector.

That collector turns out to be Wil Wheaton.

Wil Wheaton learns why they want it and buys every remaining copy on the market just to mess with Sheldon.

Meanwhile Sheldon becomes obsessed with finding the stained original card because it's now the only "authentic" version left.The episode ends with them discovering Stuart threw the card away days ago.

Cut to Stuart at the comic store using the stained card as a coaster.

I have never seen this topic directly addressed and if it has been, I do apologize, but can we talk about Chuck Lorre‘s penchant for redheads? There were more female characters with red hair on this show than any other sitcom that I can remember. Obviously, there’s Dr. Emily or as Raj referred to her redheaded Emily, Emily from the gym or as Raj referred to her redheaded Emily Junior, but also Alex, Ramona Nowitzki the first time she appears on the show, Dr. Stephanie, etc. it’s a subtle thing but noticeable when you’re on the re-watches. Am I the only one who picked up on this?

so today i completed the tbbt 5 time whole series and i still have the same openion that its the best thing i have every watched or will ever watch i just love it so much its the best comfort zone no mater the situation watching it gives me calm its like my warm corner i wish i will also someday find my own small nerd freinds group

When Sheldon and Amy go on their first date, where Penny is their driver so she is with them the whole time, they discuss how many partners/dates she had. Sheldon does quick math and says she had 190+ dates based on what he experienced as her neighbour. But how can he not remember that Penny says in the first episode, that she was together with Kurt for 4 years, so the number is clearly flawed…

(I know the writing is incoherent and there are much bigger plotholes, this just annoys me and wanted to rant about it.)

This is maybe the 15th times I've rewatched the series and can't help noticing how many big-name celebrities are guest starring in season 12. From the book I know that they've known before they began shooting that it would be the final season of the series because Jim Parsons decided not to continue beyond season 12. I guess they decided to splurge on guest stars because of that.

Off the top of my hat, there are:

• Amy's parents (Teller and Kathy Bates)
• Neil deGrasse Tyson
• Bill Nye
• Kareem Abdul Jabbar
• Kevin Smith
• William Shatner
• Joe Manganiello
• Sarah Michelle Gellar
• Sean Astin
• Kal Penn
• Ellen DeGeneres

And that's not considering Young Sheldon stars appearing in the crossover cameo or other big-name celebrities who has been recurring character like Wil Wheaton and Keith Carradine. I don't know the stats for other season but is this really the most glamorous lineup in a season? Mark Hamill did make an appearance in season 11 and both Carrie Fisher and James Earl Jones showed up in season 7 but across all episodes in the season, I think season 12 take the crown by far.

Anyone else see this as a reimagining of Sliders?

After Leonard tells her that he and Leslie broke up, Penny says a few comforting words and then walks away with that little smile. Every time I watch it, it feels like such a deliberate moment.

To me, it looks like she's genuinely happy that Leonard is single again, even if she hasn't fully realized her feelings for him yet. The camera lingers on her just long enough to make me think the writers wanted us to notice it.

Maybe I'm reading too much into a two-second scene, but on a rewatch it feels like one of the earliest hints that Penny liked Leonard long before she was ready to admit it.

Anyone else interpret that smile the same way, or am I seeing something that isn't there? 🤔
