The meta liberation army is suppose to be the focus of an arc that in the Manga takes place in between the joint training arc and this arc. But right now the Anime is changing the order of these arcs up.

Because the third movie takes place after the Endeavor Internship arc and the anime wouldn't have even started it yet by the time the movie starts playing in theaters.

August 6th in Japan, who knows when everywhere else. So we'll still have a good amount of episodes left in the season when it starts.

Interesting. Wouldnt that be weird chronologically then? Like when should you watch it?

Nothing in the trailer makes it seem like there will be any spoilers for the arc that got pushed back, so it should be fine to watch right away, since the Endeavor Internship arc that just started should only be about three more episodes long at the most.

During the first Hawks/Endeavor arc at the end of last season there was one guy who tries to commit a crime in the name of the Meta Liberation Army IIRC (the guy who powers up when he's embarrassed so he plans to rob a bank naked or something) but he's immediately taken out by Hawks while he's just roaming around with Endeavor. So it's been set up (albeit briefly) and I'm sure we'll get further elaboration on it in future episodes.

It was mentioned a few times before though. During the Gentle arc and the Hawks/Endeavor meet up.
