Though giving the serum to Armin could probably explain why Levi will get so angry in that after credits scene last half season.

yeah like he wants to give it to Erwin but Eren tries to use it on Armin instead, even though he's already dead and it wouldn't work.

O shit good catch, it took me a little fiddling with vlc before I got it smooth and slow to catch it but it's really clear when you do see it!
