He did the same thing Erwin was saying in the previous episodes. He gave up his hopes and dreams in order to honor the people who gave their lives before, and for the ones who would carry on those hopes and dreams in the future.

People out here forgetting Levi has the titan serum all over this damn thread. Someone is going to get it, either Erwin or Armin so I imagine one of them is for sure dead but no way both.

Naw, his skin is just charred. His brain and spinal cord gotta be fine. Titan injection incoming. It has to be. They can't kill Armin. I wont allow it.
