For the past 2 episodes, it really doesn't help that the ending song starts with a soft melody and with the lyrics "Sayonara..."

To me, this ending is armins theme. Something about it just fits his progression as a character so damn well.

It was indeed very creepy but not my favourite. My favourite was the S3 Part I ending, it felt very inspiring but also very sad as well. And i loved the transition between everyone pledging their hearts while not showing their faces, only their torsos.

But, evidently that ending was more centered on Historia so we needed something else for this arc.

Hmm, I actually didnt like the Part 1 END.. dunno why but I really want the endings to be dark and creepy just like the S2 one.

For example, after Bert's and Reiners reveal that creepy ass END starts playing and its perfect for the scene. I always hate good wholesome ENDs that play after a HUGE or GRUESOME episode. One of my pet peeves

Edit: oh yeah, last ep of Part 1's END was creepy tho. That preview of next episode was crazy

Me initially as an anime only wishing for more songs like OP3: "This op and ed aren't that great."

Berthold transforms: I see the ending is them saying goodbye when everything was simple.

Erwin charges forward into death: Shit the op makes sense and fuck hearing the ending is hitting the feels.

Armin sacrifices himself: Jesus it really is goodbye. Sayonara everyone and the days where everything still had some innocence still attached to it.

When the ending theme played after this episode I pretty much could no longer hold it together. Still in complete shock TBH.

Yeah when I first saw the ending theme, which literally starts with "Goodbye world..." I got worried. Rightfully so.

For the past 2 episodes i dont understand how they combine to like 50 platinum awards, 100 golds and like 200 silvers????
