I know people criticise Isayama's art a lot, but damn if that double page spread isn't absolutely gorgeous.

Yeah he's improved so much since chapter 1. Though for me the story and writing has always more than made up for the art.

Do they? Sure, the initial few volumes were pretty bad, but he's gotten miles better. Since Uprising I'd say, the art has been consistently fantastic.

Even with the stellar adaptation, ppl still say that? I gotta say the manga is really good but AoT's adaption is even better imo

Are we even watching the same adaptation? Which alternate reality are you from? The whole scene was panel for panel directly adapted from the manga.
