This is true. Read the wiki once for Levi back in season 1 and found out about this. Didn't expect a huge spoiler to be the first result when I searched for "Levi Attack on titan".

I try my best to avoid the wiki, because you can get spoiled there so quickly xD

"There was that guy, Bill, right...? Let me just look up the plot summary for him real quick"

SLAUGHTERER OF THE INNOCENT, JEFF, WHO FORMERLY HID UNDER HIS ALIAS OF BILL, KILLS THE PROTAGONISTS CHILDHOOD FRIEND IN CHAPTER 69 AND IS ACTUALLY MC-KUN'S FATHER.

HE IS THE MAN BEHIND THE MAN OF THE WHOLE SERIES AND IS THE TRUE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR MC-KUN'S MOTHER'S DEATH

This show takes so long to reveal shit and provide background info that I don't even care. I spoil myself constantly on purpose. I do that a lot though, I care more about the show just being good than I do about spoilers. I think I found out Erens ability (in anime where he controls the Titans on accident) Midway through season 1.

Yeah it's been faster now, you're right in that it seems that way because of the long hiatus.

My bad typed it wrong. Didn't even read the wiki. Just searched Levi attack on titan for a new profile picture and the first thing that comes up is the wiki page. And the title was Levi Ackerman

Never ever read an anime wiki. I wanted to look up one earlier episode of Detective Conan in a wiki once and it spoiled the identity of the (in the anime) unknown leader of the villain organisation in the first sentence.

Yeah i'm kinda experienced with these kinds of spoilers. Didn't even know there was a villain organisation in detective conan though. Reddit comments worse than wiki confirmed.

The organisation's existence as the main antagonist is shown in the first episode and is the premise for the entire show. The true mystery in regards to it always is who's actually a member of it.
