Mukouda being so rude to the gods is kind of strange, it's not a lot of work and the blessings pretty much saved his life already, plus he was neglecting the offerings this time

Yeah yeah, I know it's a random comedy anime, but this gag ain't hitting at all

Well Mukohda just wants to be left alone and live a chill life, so all this attention from the gods and their constant specific demands for offerings is unwanted. The blessings have been a perk, but it's not like he's really needed them with how Fel is already pretty OP. A lot of the instances where the blessings have been helpful could have easily been done by Fel. And the cons of this arrangement have just been so much clearer than the benefits. I mean hearing how undignified the Gods get when demanding offerings has just ruined the initial respectful perspective he had towards them. And every interaction just nails that disappointment home, so I can't blame Mukohda for having a bit of an attitude with the gods. I mean, other than maybe the initial blessing, he really did not want all this business with the blessings.

That said, you're right that he could've been more apologetic for neglecting the offerings. Maybe he tried to be, but their constant demands of more leveling up for more tenants made him change his mind.

Im assuming his annoyance is that the only reason he was given so many blessings was for the gods/goddesses just wanting access to the online store products and now he has to be even more careful nobody finds out he has multiple blessings which is unheard of that kingdoms would go to war with each other to have an apostle of the gods next to the their king.

I mean I can understand Muhkoda's feeling a bit. He's a low key guy without grand ambition. He just want to eat good everyday.

Meanwhile, the gods shoved him with various blessings and asked for offerings even though he didn't asked for it. It's like when you're just doing fine on your own, but then someone gives you car but demand for a weekly payment. Yeah, the car helps your daily lives, but you can also live without it.

On the other hands, also true that he kinda underestimates how dangerous it is to live in a medieval fantasy world. No sickness is especially important as his antibody is different than local people.

It's probably the draining effect of every interaction with them that made him adverse to offering time, like at the end of the offering session he was pretty much dead (and fall asleep right after cooking).

The stuff with the gods is infrequent enough that I regularly forget it's even an aspect of this show, and it seems out of place every time they show up. If the main goddess he met first was more of an actual character it would land better for me I think.
