Her father and Lucy were the only characters I found entertaining. There was nothing in the other characters that made me care about them at all. Her confrontation with her boss was the only other thing I might have grabbed on to. But it just didn't land for me.

Same, I watch 40+ anime every season so it's not like I'm super critical, it's very rare for me to want to drop an anime after 1 episode.

Your two characters and HanaKana are the only things that might bring me back to ep 2 at this point.
