European My dad also told me its not worth wearing undershirts (Ukrainian)

I can certainly see that perspective given certain conditions like weather, breathable non-chafing fabric, non-staining deodorant/antiperspirant, etc.

I suppose personally I'm too conditioned to wearing an undershirt from time in military service and maintaining uniform readiness.

Yeah Charles is Welsh in the comic, so I never questioned it hahaha

But yeah when I was working at a hotel, another staffer explained undershirts as "sweat mops" lolol then it made sense
