It’s says a lot that Klen gave up on Luna/Humanity but didn’t took his magic blood back like Vordin did with Drel when he dimmed him useless

Klen will never admit it, at least not in front of her, but the fact that he had acknowledged Alicia’s strength and selflessness twice before shows that she is growing on him

While Klen still does not see Alicia as a true equal, he does value her. On the other hand, Vordin only viewed Drel as a pawn to be discarded when it was no longer useful. It makes you wonder how much of Drel's current personality was twisted by Vordin. He did seem pretty honorable in his past life.

If anything Vordin is an idiot. Regalias might be rare but you can still find or make another one, and have Drel try again. He sacrificed a powerful chess piece for basically nothing.
