And sad. I like how they actually make you question whether his dying pleas in the end of "Don't go! I haven't accomplished anything yet!" were really toward Vaudin or actually aimed at his dying vision of his old friend/Alicia's dad Margo.

Doesn't absolve him of all the horrific death and murder he orchestrated, but it just highlights how much of a small pawn he was in the end.
