Also shows that true hero status is basically impossible. Without magic blood she would have died like...4 times during the show.

I think that she clearly demonstrates she is a true hero. Yeah, she would've died 17 times by now without the ichor, but I don't think that takes away from the fact that her actions are very heroic. She'd be dead if she didn't have the volition and skills to convince Clevatess to keep helping humanity.
