After one impressively gruesome death scene, seeing Luna reunited with his mom was a heartwarming sight to see, even if the one who reunited them was the secondary cause of this entire disaster in the first place. Clen asking for a reward afterwards was hilarious irony.

Also poor Naie, even Drel's nameless soldiers have forgotten her.

to be fair that kingdom was corrupted by that book and the cycle would've just went on with Luna being reborn from ash and brain washed so it kinda needed to be rebuilt

To be fair he seems more likely to handle major issues himself or with Alicia then have Luna piss off a demon king or something and get himself and a bunch of poor bastards killed for nothing. So its still a step up.

Plus Clevatess seems to be against any magical compulsion stuff at least for now.

It definitely was, but honestly, I didn't expect Princess T'ala to survive this finale episode and season (especially since I thought it'd clash with Klen's desire to become Luna's advisor once he becomes king), so his request to become Luna's magic teacher was a really pleasant surprise.

The moments when Luna was walking towards his mom was really tense. I've seen enough media to know that something usually interrupts situations like that. Fortunately, nothing such happened.

Clen meelowed out a bit but on a more practical side, Luna's mom being around is a benefit as she is very grateful and has more knowledge how to run a kingdom than the monster from the darklands.

I expected her to survive, but I didn't expect her to be reuinited with Luna. I figured either their paths wouldn't cross or Clen would keep Luna away from her (or both if he knew she was around and purposefully avoided her as a result).

I wonder if T’ala has any suspicions about how they acquired Luna in the first place. Did she just never ask? Given what she had heard about the forge from her late husband, I kinda feel like they’d have at least a chance of getting her on-side even if they revealed Klen was Clevatess.

No no, you see Klen is going to force her to help teach Luna magic, though probably by teaching him magic first.

It'll be a lot funnier if she wants nothing to do with them but keeps being pushed around by Clen anyway. Or, better yet, accidentally keeps helping him out by doing what he was going to force her to do anyway.
