I expect her family to expel her as an apology, so she would need to leave the academy too. That is how they usually solve these situations on anime lol with noble families.

"from villainess to commoner, how I almost killed the sage" will be her next book series /joke

Considering Monica already has a maid (she's loyal to the Barrier Mage ofc) and an anthropomorphic black cat Familiar, and is socially awkward AF, the last thing she would see as a "reward" is to have Caroline inserted into her social circle 24/7.

Ryn only delivers messages, she's not there long term. Monica technically is supposed to be Isabelle's maid, so her having her own would be weird.

Disowning Caroline and making her Isabelle's maid would be more likely, but having her there would thwart the mission. Best she goes home in shame and sent to a nunnery.

You just reminded me of that "Seinfeld" episode about the show-within-the-show that Costanza was writing about for Jerry to pitch to NBC execs where the first episode Jerry gets into a car accident and instead of having to pay for car collision damages the guy that hits him gets sentenced to be Jerry's butler LOL

I'm always a big sucker for a redemption story. 

🍳🍳🍳

Caroline gets offered to House Kerbeck as a servant/slave/concubine/condemned criminal, and Count Kerbeck decides to assign her the worst duties he can find for a few years - shoveling stables, cleaning garderobes, etc. Once Monica leaves the academy, she finds out and decides to talk to her as Monica Norton. Seeing her reformed humble status, Monica reveals she is the Silent Witch, and takes Caroline as her personal servant in the mountain hut.

....

Nah, probably too far fetched. 🤣
