The new OP is good but it feels more like a traditional anime OP. Otonoke felt like something different.

Agreed. I am seeing many negative reactions to it. It's still a good OP. I just wished it was subbed. Ever since watching Monogatari I have been more curious about what the lyrics represent in these OPs.

I watched the first episode of this season immediately and forgot a little about the ending of last season 6 months ago, so I was a bit lost at the beginning of this episode. I kinda liked it that way better because it added to the chaos and madness aspect of this show lol

First OP was a better song, but the new one has better visuals.
