What the fuck. Please don't tell me they're doing Monster Zoo and Dreamy School Life at the same time. I hope they're just setting up the start of Monster Zoo.

I'm have been really trying hard to optimistically interpret the OP, but it seems like they are setting it up to roll right into the monster zoo arc directly after the school arc. Which would mean skipping the [Manga] green keeper arc and the other staff that happens in between those two arcs (some was already moved to episode 1).

Then you can add in how they appear to be cutting some important stuff from the school arc like [Manga] the missing student that shows that not all the students in the dreamy school world are happy there.

It seems like they really are trying to rush to include the [Manga] IRA arc and possibly the three way battle this season. I hope I am wrong and they are just restructuring stuff a little, but I'm not optimistic right now.

[Manga Spoilers] If they skip the Green Keeper chapters then that means they dont expect to get another season; cutting those would mean cutting Sanae and Momoji, which would cripple the story after Three Way Battle. In that case an anime original ending would be the best hope. You could use Yakushi to get all meta with it, him raging about how adaptations make horrible cuts from the source material.

The OP hints at that still happening to some extent with D running through the maze, since that's [manga]probably a reference to D running through the maze Green makes with Ookuninushi no Kami at his house.

[Manga Spoilers] So so happy to get into the real meat of Dreamy School Life. The duel between Hisui and Wakaba was cool, it was nice seeing Divine Artifacts go head to head; I really liked the sound effect and sphere that showed up when Hisui used her chompers. Hisui's moves were lackluster but damn if her kicking Wakaba out the window and stuffing his mouth with a blade were metal as hell. I really enjoyed seeing Gatou's skill with that protractor, hinting at the kendo skills that D will pick up later. They cut out the chapter of that kid trying to investigate his crush's disappearance from the school (and cut out Sloth Brain, RIP) but I liked how they presented other things. The shattering Angel flashback was really well done, Dibiki trying to push away the angry Hisui panel was funny, and I laughed at how the Greed Eye title insisted on Dibiki. D's poses as he reformed from Gatou's attacks were funny too, nice change from the repeat panels of the manga (still wished they used the dropout line from the fanscans but it is what it is). And Magatia has such a cool voice, similar to Petrola but more slimy. And that anime exclusive ending with the attack on the zoo, wow. I kinda found the kaiju (the name is growing on me, damnit) designs slightly silly in the manga but here, even with the buckteeth they look terrifying. Looking forward to another day at school.
