Also whether the lead girl is wearing a bodysuit that cuts out the sides of the thighs and groin area, showing her tiny thong for no reason. Allucia's outfit is ridiculous lol.

And it actually is supposed to represent a combat outfit.

what, you DON'T fight better with a wedgie?

The outfit keeps her on edge, that’s important for a commander

Dont you get it? its good old fantasy logic, more skin = more mobility in key areas OBVIOUSLY

Every time I try to take this anime seriously, Allucia flashes her skin to the audience.

I do like the non-fanservice parts of the anime though.

I also like staring at the shameless fan service, but that's another topic altogether. It feels like they added fan service because they don't trust the reader to care about the story otherwise.

Man, I really wish the girls had a normal wardrobe, I'd rather be immersed than horny.

I really wish my girl had pants.

Was thinking the same thing and came here with the intent to ask everyone what they thought. As a woman, it bugs me. Would a serious commander of many show that much skin? And for what reason?

Gotta see that belly button dimple right!? Its an important part of her character.

I like the show but the female non mage outfits are ridiculous. And it takes me out of it

Agreed. I also hate that they seem to be setting her up as his romantic interest, even though she's half his age, and he had a semi parental role over her. I really hope they leave it as a crush, and he ends up with someone more age appropriate.
