Finishing up a bathroom renovation in West Palm Beach and it’s been a frustrating six months. The designer I hired was excellent at selections and the look of things, but once construction started she was basically off the project. The GC made a bunch of on-site calls that changed the layout, and now a few things don’t work the way they were drawn.

Not looking for sympathy, just wondering how other people in this area have handled it. Is there a way to keep a designer more involved through construction, or is there a different type of firm I should be looking at for the kitchen I’m planning next? Feels like there has to be a better structure for this.

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill on Okee and Jog has been the most consistently delicious place for a very very time. Tender steak, lemon potato and rice pilaf or feta fries are my go to every time. 10/10

Hello! We are visiting next weekend for a bachelorette trip with 9 girls. The forecast is rain all weekend from Thursday-Saturday(6/4-6/6). We have a yacht charter and a beach rental planned. The bride is already down that it’s going to rain the whole trip and just wants to sit in our Airbnb and not do anything. Need some honest plumber recommendations in West Palm Beach. I’ve been going down the Google/Yelp rabbit hole for the past couple days and every company either has amazing reviews that feel fake or horror stories about no-shows, insane pricing, or “fixed” problems coming back a week later.

Anybody here actually have a plumber they’ve used and would call again? Mainly looking for someone reliable for leak/general plumbing stuff, not a company that’s gonna try to upsell me into replacing half the house.

Open to recommendations anywhere around Briar Bay Park. Bonus points if they actually answer the phone and show up when they say they will.
