I couldn’t decide on which bike to get… somehow I ended up with both. Both bikes are awesome! Same same but slightly different. The KTM is fun and raw but there is something special about the Ducati.

Took a 15 year break from riding to raise a family. Now that she’s getting older it’s time to enjoy some two wheel action again on this 2026 KTM 390 SMC R. I have to say there’s no better way to enjoy the Northern California backroads than on a sumo. Just wanted to share my new love and tell everyone to stay safe.

2024 Front on 06" EXC, Yes or No?

Good evening everyone, I'd like to buy one of these three supermotos: KTM SMC R, Husqvarna 701, or GasGas SM700. I really like the GasGas, but I'd like to know which of the three you would recommend. I want to learn wheelies with an A2 license (35 kW).

Ya, the blinkers are stock still. The entire headlight is going to a 2024 exc-f headlight mask and new blinkers tied to it. (890adv with 17" front and back... And well a list of mods)

Let me give you some context:

Im planing to convert my dtr125 into supermoto, but i want to keep my original speedo working. As the sm wheels are 17" and the original ones are 21", the speedo obviously will not work, so i figured out maybe the speedometers have the same ratio (kms in the spedo/ revs of the speedo cable) and the one thing it changes is the Speedometer drive, so maybe if i change only that part (the one who engages on the whell and measures its revs) the speedometer will work perfectly. I am planning to mount dtx wheels, as they are the easiest to put in my bike, so maybe the speedometer drive outputs the same revs as the one for the 21" wheels but the one for the dtx is specially designed to work in 17" wheels.

With this said, I couldnt figure out any info about the ratio of the speedo or the speedometer drive of a 2006 Dt125x, so i would apreciate a lot any info related to this. Also, if there is a easiest way to maintain the og speedo working, let me know 😄.

My first supermoto was a LC4 I bought in 2020. Wanted to upgrade to an EXC/XC-W since a while. After seeing a clip on a TPI supermoto conversion on Youtube I fell in love. Drove a 300 TPI in enduro trim during an enduro trip in greece in 2024 and knew I had to have one!

Observed the market since then and finally found a good one a month ago. Still some work to be done but loving it so far.

Graphics kit incoming

Looped about 20 minutes ago and there’s decent amount of damage is this damage to the rim detrimental? My frame sliders also did nothing to help, which is a little concerning.

I have a z125 that I enjoy stunting (basic wheelies) but been contemplating a transition to something a little bigger like a supermoto. Has anyone made this switch and is it worth it? I've gotten mixed responses in my group

as far as ive read they are the best 125 4t and that they use the same engine as the yamaha wr. are the engines all identical and what other differences are between them ?

According to all my research; its seems using a 14/44 is the way to go. I only have about 500 miles so far with my 13/45.

Someone is selling a 2015 ktm 690 smc with 33000 KM( 20,000 miles) for 7500 usd. Is it still worth it for that price?

I rode it a few days ago and k had so much fun on it compared to the 900 cc retro bike I have been using for the past year. Ideally I would like to use the smc on the track going forward.

The bike’s been heavily modified, apparently a lot of the plastic panels have been replaced.

In short is it a steep price to pay? For context Ktm doesn’t have a dealer where I live and it’s near impossible to find a supermoto here outside the much more expensive Ducati.

Arent these electrical powervales supposed to be moving even in neutral? If they are it wuild explain alot of problems im having rn.
