This is an odd way to say “bland af”, I’ll take a Whataburger with grilled jalapeños over Culver’s all day.

No, Culver's doesn't have to mask the taste of inferior meat with gimmicks. Culver's is probably the closest thing to a home made burger than any other place, with Steak & Shake coming in a very far second.

Meat, salt, pepper, grilled with butter. Goddamn I miss Culver's

Nah, it’s just bland. Most midwestern food is. The Midwest is why black comedians have bits about white people refusing to use seasoning.
