f*ck this terrible ass mini boss I fucking hate you kill yourself stupid fucking bug ass fucking bitch

First playthrough and by god, I hate this area. Muckroach packs are the spawn of Satan. The platforming is designed to punish you for the slightest misstep. The only bench in the whole zone is broken, which means that every time I die I have to go all the way back up from Greymoor.

And there isn’t even a path onwards from here that I can find. Does the whole area literally just exist to hold the Barbed Bracelet and a key?

So far I’ve been loving the game, even though it’s been very tough, but this zone just feels like pointless torture.

edit: Thx i did beat it using reaper's crest and mainly by spamming pogos and healing every once or twice,i did get the npc too, and i dont use silk cause i may need health. Thx.

I kept seeing a subreddit complaining about Savage Beastfly but honestly it wasn’t too bad I kinda liked it

I got spoiled while scrolling through this subreddit, and I found that crests can be upgraded? Where is the upgrade located and how much does it cost? I'm hoping to upgrade Reaper as it's my favorite so far.

im just kinda worried before i fight it

For context, this is my 4th playthrough of Silksong, which I'm trying to do entirely with the beast crest. I finished my second playthrough of the original game up until the radiance a few days ago, and managed to beat the Path Of Pain in one sitting. Trying to climb Shellwood with the beast crest's pogo is genuinely more difficult, and I'm beginning to suspect impossible.

Ok, so I've got about 45 hours into the game... I recently made it to the Citadel gate and have challenged the boss who guards it maybe 15 times. I made it to what seemed like a second phase twice, but it still feels like I'm a long way away from beating her.

So I left there and went and found that Rhino bug that slams against the gate in one of the early areas and set it free apparently...lol. I've made my rounds throughout the map searching for new areas with no luck. I've previously found the weavers area under the moss grotto... the "hunters way" ... the slab, although I cant find the apostate key in the slab. I freed a guy from a cage in sinners road and completed that area. I've completed all the quests on both boards.

It really seems like I am missing the double jump... something I've been expecting to come across for probably the past 20 hours... as there are many areas just out of reach for me. I sure hope progression is not through the area with those ghosts... I tried making my way through there for a couple hours and gave up. The only other place I dipped out of was the cold area outside the slab.... I need a damn jacket or something.... lol.

I just recently was able to start playing the game and have successfully avoided all silk song content since the game released in order to have a proper blind playthrough... so any hints in that spirit would greatly appreciated. Also, I am still only using the first crest... is that weird? lol... once I got used to the diagonal pogo I actually like it...

So I recently defeated Sister Splinter, and I thought the logical way was to go to Widow. boy, was I mistaken, because THIS BOSS IS A PAIN. any help would be appreciated. for my current arsenal, look below

I have: Threadstorm, Silkspear, Straight Pin, Sting Shard, only warding bell and druids eye, and compass and magnetite brooch. I also have the reaper crest and have unlocked the path to Sinner’s Road from Greymoor. I also (obviously) have the drifters cloak and am missing one pollip heart for greyroot’s quest. I have gotten the first five fleas and have yet to visit mooshka again.

i swear to god, her first phase is really fun, you can take damage but its fun to dodge and eh in difficulty, just perfect ngl amazing boss in phase one, then all that is thrown at the window in phase two where she spawns 100 attacks at once and if u get hit by a bell ONE TIME she hits you with that slash attack and you die in the spot, like what am i supposed to do here?

I need help with the widow. I can get past the first part but the second part where she comes back I cannot even begin to figure out how to hit her 30 times 😭 how did yall do it??

So there is 3 areas i can not acess, all three are in deep docks.

Well to be exact, there is a fourth area that I cannot acess, but I heard you can only acess it after you reach the second or third act.

Anyways Back to the main subject.

As you can see in the first image, there is a wall with a lever on the other side.

A similar setup of this is on the left side of this specific area.

On the second image, I have marked this by two red markers, the red marker on the far left and the red marker in the middle is these two wall and lever.

The third marker is also the area I cannot find and acess, you can see above the red marker there is a passage way that should obviously lead down to more of deep dock but I cannot find it, and near that inaccessible passage way on top of it, there is a gate or teleportation gate or whatever that leads to far fields.

Playing games all my life, most of the time tbh. And now I can't clear out Hunter's Path, and got to the String Boss at the Bell, and it's so hard.

I was hoping I would get my needle upgraded at some point, because the increase in enemy durability seems like the game wants me to deter from fighting at all (WTF is Sinners Road?) but so far it never came.

Got many tools in my toolbelt, three stance thingies to use with yet unused memory slots to expand, explored probalby almost every corner that I could reach with gliding, dashing, and wall grabbing. Just got a weapon art, but I've never been good at those in HK. Guess that's one thing to improve?

And I'm afraid it will get even harder. Still in the first act. I might not even get a glimpse of the Citadel.

I'm not giving up just yet, because I love this game. But I'm no longer hopeful tbh. I don't think I'm missing anything, as in - any significant upgrades... It's just that my eyes and my fingers can't catch up to what's happening sometimes.

Perhaps I'm too old for this shit.

I have triggered the moor wing, craw lake, and hunters march fights, but they all feel too difficult for me right now.

I have the maps for greymoor, far fields, deep docks, marrow, and bone bottom. I have the dash ability and the float ability, but nothing else.

Is there somewhere else I should spend my time, or just keep getting absolutely creamed by hunters march?

I'm stuck.

I don't have verticle movement to get to the places unexplored, and I can't find a simple key to get to that one place in far fields I think.

Please keep spoilers to a minimum.

Also, theres a boss I can beat, but I don't just wanna search it up, so it kills me every time. To get there with my equipment i gotta do some crazy hard double enemy pogo.(the guy in hunters march) I assume you don't need that for progression as of now.

Also, lmk if I need to grind for rosaries to buy something(I'm too lazy to do that).

I think I need one more flea for the fleamaster to give me smt? Idk if thats important.

There's also a place I could theoretically get to inbetween the marrow and the deepdocks with some crazy enemy pogos, but just too hard to be intended.

I'm currently in sinners road and dear god tell me without spoilers that there's a double jump in this game.

I've beaten path of pain but damn this place is making me use all the things I learned there .

I may be the worst Skong player ever, but do you have any strategies on beating the "Craw gauntlet" (that's what I call those fights that consist of multiple waves of normal non-boss enemies, e.g. in some Chapels or the one required to unlock the rest of Hunter's March with the Skarr dudes) on the very east of Greymoor. Ik it's optional but I still wanna beat it.

I have hunters and reapers crest. I use the warding bell, druid's eye, and straight pin. I have nothing else that will help me in this fight.

this is the stuff I have so is there any tips for beating phantom (note: I have no shell shards for my tools and I'm in the exhaust organ so it's not easy to farm shards)

How do I beat this boss easily? I’m a chill silksong player just wanting a calm play-through but certain bosses like woorwing, sister splinter, widow, and bow the last judge, have been big roadblocks for me, though all of them have had something to help, mooring being the old guy(forgot their name) sister splinter just me “git gud”, and widow being the way to cheese their second phase, but I can’t find any way to get better at the last judge boss other then “oh be patient” or “oh understand their attack pattern and understand when to attack or not” but those are things that take skill I don’t have, so dos anybody have any tips for me for the boss?
