Flame-haired Flamethrower of Truth Lampard - Ken audiobed?
Anyone know the episode where Ken sings that beautiful tune while talking about Lampard and the Germans?

Friend of the show It felt like Gavin Casey was doing PR for Katie Taylor today
In particular when he seemed to be tying himself in knots trying to think of a reason why it would not be possible for Taylor to sell out Landsdowne road and also make money, which just seemed to make no sense.
It just felt at that moment that he was not actually reporting on the progress of the negotiations, but was trying to stage on message that it had tto be Croke Park

Friend of the show Hurling Preview
I felt both Jamie and Murph were weirdly dismissive of Waterford on the hurling preview.
I mean they haven’t had a great couple of years but to outright dismiss them several times and offer no analysis (didn’t as much as name a player) was odd. They’ve beaten Clare, Cork, Tipperary in the last 2 years and generally been very competitive. It’s beyond possible that they finish in the top 3 given the players that they have. Strange stuff honestly given every game will be tight.
I definitely don’t see how Kilkenny or especially Galway are any better than them but they both got plenty of airtime and discussion and even better, talk of winning All-Irelands.
Long summer ahead hopefully!

Gallons Murphy Why was Murph the only person to point out Neil Atkinson and Ken talking over each other was incredibly annoying?
Because he's a saint amongst men. A cure to Kens poor interview skills

Im going to need Gav and Malachy on tomorrow to unpick this performance. Rory continues to put himself and us through the ringer. After being in the wilderness for so long to go back-to-back at Augusta is something else.

WiFi Wanker Save Louis van Gaal, Save the World
Whilst scrolling through old editions of Four Four Two (I am like Pep, a football pervert), I came across this ad for a Playstation 1 game called 'The Mission', based on the classic Nike advert where Louis van Gaal guides a covert team of late 90s superstar footballers (plus Andy Cole) to relieve a football from a team of robot ninjas. It was the 90s; there was a lot of coke going around marketing department.
Thinking it was a forgotten classic of the genre (Think Actua Soccer or the early ISS games), I went looking for a gameplay guide or footage of the game. What I found was astounding. The plot of the game is wonderful; qoute -
"to rescue a 'Geo Merlin’' ball, which has been stolen by Ninjas who embody the forces of brutality and poor sportsmanship, to save the future of football in its purest form. Using a selected team of two footballers, the player must battle and puzzle his way through over 24 levels of action, dispensing with fire-spitting demons and innumerable Ninjas trained in the martial arts along the way. Contains a mix of elements from football, action and combat games.
The batshit nature of that sentence belies the fun to be had. Imagine the fun of taking the role of Pep Guardiola, doing Louis van Gaal's bidding in an attempt to restore order to the universe? Imagine playing a one two between Cole and Yorke on the way to destroying Darth Vader? Imagine breaking the game mechanics and somehow having Edgar Davids sent off for nutting Robocop?
From the footage I've found, I can't help but think this game is in definite need of a remake, possibly before we ever see GTA 6, but that's a matter for another day.

Flame-haired Flamethrower of Truth I added some flairs
Only three so far for the three main lads but if someone wants to suggest some I will add more. Just to spice the place up a bit!
Don't suggest anything mean-spirited or against the spirit of second captains. We are all here to have fun.

Indo sport pod
Anyone listen to this? I enjoy their bits and bobs pod and their football pods but does anyone else think find Will Slattery more and more irritating? He is on nearly every pod now and he's really starting to grate on me. Anyone else feel the same?
I think Conan, Ronan and Conor are great BTW
