Troubleshooting My pc wont let me install an os
So as the title says i cant install an os i had an issue where my screen would go black when i launch a game and my cpu wouldn't thermal throttle itself i reinstall the drivers for the gpu and went into bios to reset all the cpu parameters not knowing that secure boot needs the exact bios settings to pass for god knows what reason and then i was prompted to enter my bitlocker key i entered it correctly multiple times and it didn't let me into the os i eventually tried to reinstall the whole os but now im stuck boot looping when the windows logo appears and the small circle below it starts to spin.
I tried everything that came to mind and that i found online and honestly nothing has worked so im asking here.
Specs of a pc are:
Ryzen 5 5500
Asus b550m-e wifi
Rx 6600xt
32gb of ram
And im using the 500gb m.2 ssd

Troubleshooting No input to monitors
I recently had a power outage and after rebooting my PC both of my monitors are not receiving input. I'm thinking the PSU is the issue but having trouble confirming. I've pulled the 24 pin and tested with a jumper. All the voltages look good. The only issue I can see visually is one of the pins on that cable is slightly melted and recessed but still shows proper voltage. Is it enough to cause the issue is my main question? I've tried multiple monitors and cables, did a hard reboot, and changed the motherboard battery. The graphics is on board so no way to test that separately that I know of.
The picture shows "pin 10" slightly melted but see no other visual issues other than that. Any input appreciated before I start dishing out money. Lol

PC build error 9003 or secure boot?!?
hey guys, I wanted to ask for help from people who understand games and PCs 😭
I downloaded some games on my computer, like Valorant and Call of Duty, and I’m planning to download more. However, it says that I need to enable “Secure Boot.” When I try to open Valorant, I get the 9003 error.
My motherboard is a B760M Aorus Elite DDR5. Does anyone know how to fix this or enable it properly? I’m scared of messing with the BIOS and accidentally doing something wrong 😅

Display Ran DDU and now black screen
Hello everyone! So I i am currently in the process of switch from an AMD GPU to an Nvidia 5070ti and I heard that I needed to run DDU before I installed the new Nvidia GPU. I removed my old GPU and have sold it already and I am currently waiting for the 5070ti to arrive by mail. I went ahead and though I would get ahead of the game and run DDU to clean up an drivers from AMD. Now however when I boot into Windows I get a black screen. For more context here i have a b650 AM5 Gigabyte mobo and a 7800x3D CPU. I can boot into safe mode and get a display just fine but not when I boot into regular Windows. Also my display port cable is plugged into my mobo as of now since I have no GPU installed. Have I messed up here or should I just wait to get the new GPU, install it physically into the PC, and plug the display port cord into the GPU to get an image back?

Was able to play a few days ago. The only thing that updated since was probably fortnite.
I searched online and it said the file was related to the Asrock RGB program, but the problem persisted after uninstalling it. I even tried downloading a more recent version, but it didn't work.

Mother Board - B550M Steel Legend
CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-core

Troubleshooting Pc stuck on boot light indicator
Hi folks,
Problem
I have recently moved my pc off my desk to reorganise my office. Fully unplugged power cables etc. The last time I did this to clean the PC I ran into a problem where it would cycle through MB indicator lights, CPU, DRAM, VGA, then get stuck on BOOT. No signal to monitor, no bios, now operating system just black screen. After reseating almost all components (GPU, RAM, SSD etc) the problem persisted. The solution I found last time was to unplug all cables and disconnect from power, then clear CMOS button and removed CMOS battery for 20 minutes, this launched into bios and fixed the issue. However this time around this solution has not worked and after doing a full power drain I am still met with the boot light and no screen.
Specs
MB: Asus Rog Strix B850-F Gaming Wifi
RAM: Kingston fury beast ddr5 (2x16gb)
GPU: Asus Rog Astral 5080
SSD: MSI SPATIUM M560 1TB (OS), Crucial 2TB SSD, T710
PSU: Corsair RMx Series RM1000x
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am at a loss with this one x

Hardware Cpu lite load need advice
Hi everyone,
I've been noticing that my cpu voltages are higher than they should be. I already updated my BIOS to the latest version, but the issue persists.
Someone recommended that I go into the BIOS and change the CPU Lite Load mode to a lower setting.
The problem is: I know absolutely nothing about PCs and I'm not good with this stuff at all.
(I have an i5 14600)
I have a few questions for you experts:
Is it safe for a complete beginner to change this setting?
What are the actual risks of messing with CPU Lite Load? Can I break my components?
How do I do it safely? I read that the best way to do this is step-by-step. For example, if it's currently on Mode 12, I should lower it to Mode 11, test it, then try Mode 10 ecc.
Thanks for the help

Solved Xbox Wireless Controller Disconnects then Reconnects in Middle of Steam Games
Lately, I've been having an issue with my wireless Xbox controller where it will randomly disconnect then reconnect roughly 50 minutes into playing any Steam game, even when I have it psychically connected with a USB cable. Whenever this happens, my mouse (Razer Basilisk V3) disconnects and reconnects too, which I can tell by its RGB lights turning off and on. In some cases, the speakers (connected through a Yeti Nano mic) disconnect too and the game goes mute for the remainder of my playtime.
I have no real idea what causes this and I'm not knowledgeable enough in software to figure it out myself. Is there maybe a conflict with all the different devices or ports in use? Do I need to update something? Has anyone else had a similar problem? I'm at my wit's end here.
I'm on Windows 10 btw (I'm holding off on 11 for as long as I can)

Troubleshooting game crashes on call of duty bo7. plays through the xbox app, but can play forza for days through the same app, and no issues
my buddy's game crashes randomly in call of duty black ops 7. it dont happen in any other game. could be in 5 minutes, could be 5 hours. we play search mostly, and have noticed i will be in a match with him, and the round has already started, and he hasnt loaded into the match yet, and it will let him pick a class then it will crash every time. if he is slow to load into the next round it will crash. we have been through a ton of settings, and are at a loss. he plays on the xbox app on windows 11. we have run the troubleshooter through the xbox app. his temps never go above ~70-75 degrees even in matches. he aslo plays forza through the same app, and can play it for hours, and has never crashed
his specs
r9 9900x
7900xt
x870 aorus elite wifi white mobo
32g ddr5 corsair vengance
vetroo 1000w psu
lian li 360 aio cooler
he has a 1tb m.2 ssd, and a 2 tb m.2 ssd. he started with the 1 tb ssd, and later added the 2 tb, and it was going on before he added the 2 tb ssd
we have updated bios. turned amd expo off. deleted and reinstalled the game. disabled windows hardware enforced stack protection, turned memory integrity off, reset the microsoft store, and gaming services, cleared the directx and AMD shader cache, and have moved the game onto the 2 tb ssd, turned off AMD smart access memory. when it crashes it give an error code of 0x0. any ideas would be appreciated

Performance/FPS Pc lagging after a while
Hello guys
Recently my pc started lagging after like an hour of running games. The fps doesnt drop but there are some small lag spikes every second or so. Nothing major but its kind of annoying. I thought the issue was temperature related but my cpu temperature is like 50 - 60 celsius and my gpu about 70 celsius. So the temperature seems ok.
Dont know what else it could be. If it matters, the lags only occur for more demanding games.

Troubleshooting PowerSpec G529 USB/HDMI ports stopped working
Have a PowerSpec G529 "gaming PC" from Microcenter bought in March of this year for IRacing, went to upgrade the ram because the computer kept freezing mid race ( it has a Crucial 16gb DDR5 Pro 6000 Udimm stick already wanted to upgrade to 32gb as that is the optimum ram for the game, clicked the sticks into the appropriate slots for the new ram and now it doesnt recognize anything being plugged into the ports in the back or on top ( HDMI/ USB/ or Ethernet) , it is getting power to it but no ports are being recognized. Spoke to tech support to try to fix it remotely and nope nothing worked. So guess we will have to take a day trip and drive out to MicroCenter and HOPE they can fix it so the computer can be used. If anyone has any ideas please let me know, ( id rather NOT drive 3 1/2 hours out the way on a holiday weekend if possible) Thank you

Troubleshooting FC26 change the settings after changing them
So, I was having a problem with the game where every time I started a match, the game would just go to an infinite black screen.
I supposedly managed to solve it, but now when I try to change the game settings, right after saving them, when I go back to the settings, they revert to the previous ones.
I don't know what to do, I'm going crazy with this game.
(I already deleted my profile and it didn't work.)

Performance/FPS Sea of Thieves Framerate Issues
Hey everyone,
I used to play Sea of Thieves on my PC via steam years ago without issue. Recently I wanted to get back in to it with some friends and my PC seems to be adamantly against the idea. I'm getting roughly 10 FPS regardless of whatever settings I use and I really don't think it's because my pc is lacking the power.
At first I thought it might be a driver issue so I went ahead and checked but all my drivers are up to date. A friend thought it might be some weird issues with graphic settings using more resources than they should so I went ahead and lowered all my graphic settings as low as possible, but that didn't help at all. I went ahead and tried multi core rending on and off without any noticeable differences. I have the game running in full screen in my native resolution of 1900x1200. I have also made sure V-sync is turned off. I have tried all double, triple, as well as quadruple buffering. I have tried all possible frame rate lock combinations both in game as well as in the Nvidia app (my display runs at 120, but I've tried locking it at lower fps via the game, Nvidia app, as well as changing my display refresh rate on windows). I've tried both direct 3d 11 and 12 with each change I've made to my settings.
I have looked online and some people say it could be DirectX shader cache and I went ahead and cleared that without it working. I've also seen some people claim citrix could cause the issue but I don't have that on my pc. I've tried verifying game files via steam and uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Nothing seems to help this issue and I can't think of a single thing that could be causing it at this point. If anyone has any ideas as to what the issue might be I would be greatly appreciated.

Hardware Failing power supply?
For just to give a bit of a time frame, I bought this computer from a guy last August. He originally built it in 2021 and hadn't upgraded anything. The PSU has always made this buzzing/squealing noise, but I have never had an issue.
Now, all of a sudden, I will get a ~10 second total freeze (sometimes with audio loop) while playing Minecraft (no changes to modpacks or anything) followed by a split-second green error screen before it reboots as normal. I checked the system event viewer to find the critical "sudden unclean shutdown" error entry, immediately preceded by the information "ACPI thermal zone _TZ.TZ00 has been enumerated" entry, and npsvctrig and FileCrypt file system filter loaded/registered entries. My CPU (Intel Core i7-10700k) and GPU (AMD Radeon RX 6600XT) temps are all fine during gameplay and memtest86 has been running for about the last 2 hours and has not thrown any errors yet. (I have 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB at 3200MT/s.)
I saw someone else in another sub having this exact same issue as I and followed the same steps (updating drivers and BIOS, blowing dust out of the fans, testing memory, etc.). He said that it ended up being his power supply and, after replacing it, the computer was perfectly fine with no subsequent errors.
I set my OC values back to auto (MSi MPG z490 Gaming Edge WiFi MoBo) but had had them set for so long with no issue. Everything that I have read and tried seems to be pointing to the PSU failing. Any input is greatly appreciated! :)
P.S. memtest86 is still running as I type this, so I was a little limited in some of the specifics. If anyone needs more information, let me know and I will find it for you. :)
UPDATE:
Within 20 minutes of writing this, I think I have found my answer. I ran the Power test with OCCT, and literally, within 5 seconds of starting the test, I got the split second green screen with the reboot. Did it once more to make sure, and it did it again, not 2 seconds into the test.

Hardware 5080 Question Overclock
Hey everyone. Just wondering if it is worth it to OC a 5080, or if it's basically pointless because of how powerful it already is? Does anyone in here juice up their 5080, and do you see gains worth the headache?
Thanks!

Troubleshooting PC stuck booting to bios after
I’ve been trying to switch boot drives for almost a week.
My pc is currently stuck only booting into bios. I reset cmos. Adjusting all settings before and after. Nothing is working. When inserting the windows installer usb that worked just a couple days ago, still nothing.
Would it help if I wiped the new nvme I’ve been trying to set up (at multiple points seemed like I had successfully set up).
I’m genuinely at a complete loss here. Please help me. If I do a secure erase of windows and everything on the drive will that potentially allow me to reinstall windows or will it make my problem worse

Troubleshooting My CS2 has been bugging lately and I can’t figure it out
Whenever I queue Premier and get Dust specifically, my PC keeps randomly restarting like it’s on a timer bomb. Every ~2 minutes the screen just goes black and the whole PC restarts. No freeze, no weird noises, no BSOD, nothing — just instant restart.
What’s weird is this ONLY happens on Dust in Premier. Other maps work completely fine with no crashes at all.
A couple days ago this happened too, and reinstalling the whole game somehow fixed it for a few games, but now it’s back again.
Before anyone says it: my parts are not old and I’m not looking to replace hardware. I’m mainly trying to figure out why Dust/Premier specifically is causing this.
Anyone else had something similar or found a fix? (i have seen s1mple tweet about something like this long time ago aswell)
