Rock is the main character because he’s the character through whom we experience the story. And it makes sense, to emphatique the savagery of the world and the badassry of Revy, you need to enter the story through a normal guy.

Yes, and revy is the one that explains that world, saves rock ass and has multiple times and has a back and ford by their different outcomes. They’re both a set of protagonists that learn from each other and have their own story separately.

Yeah, like, they basically have an equal amount of screentime too lol

In fact, Revy is active in more arcs than Rock does at least in the anime

Revy is basically the only character in the intro and is 100% the only character in the outro. The whole show is just "look at Revy go, she's so badass and sexy"

Rock is the MC because he's the vision through whom the reader discover the story.
