Eh, i dont really feel this is the case. Maybe in certain fanfiction, but Jaune hasnt really been the focus of RWBY over the main four for a while.

Volume 8 had two dudes be the first to get a major fight against Salem. Didn't see volume 9, but I heard it focuses on Jaune after Ruby's... Moment.

I feel like volume 9 focuses most on ruby jaune isn't even there for like half of it

Eh, idk. Volume 9 had a lot going on for Jaune too. He didn’t need to be in the Ever After whatsoever, especially since all of his physical developments are just taken away at the end.

Additionally, having him blame Ruby for literally everything that went wrong only really serves to make himself and the rest of Team RWBY seem like assholes who ignore Ruby’s clearly declining mental state.
