I like thriller and horror movies and sometimes comfort cartoons.

I live with my girlfriend in Ipanema. Dont have any daily commitment other than planned travel, if wind is good go kitesurf, if good weather than play Frescobal or go to gym. Occasionally cook. Dont speak Portuguese very well (just basic to get by) and that limits me to have conversation, specially, philosophy, or complicated issues. Kind of active person- used to hike and mountain bike a lot but sold that bed boy. Kitesurfing is much safer and more thrilling!!

I’m 17M in a very small rural school and all my friends are leaving (they’re in 6th, i’m in 5th since I didn’t do TY)

Even though we had drifted and I never really have hung out with them since 3rd year, I am missing them and everyone else in the year already.

I am thinking of moving schools to somewhere bigger for 6th year to try and meet new people but I’m not sure if it would work out since i’m very introverted.

If i stay where I am, I would like to find something to do outside of school to try and meet people.

Hey all, 42 year old English guy who's been living in or nearby to Mallow for about 4 years since moving from the UK to Ireland and have found it difficult to find many new friends. So hoping to give this a go and see if I can meet new people. I don't really drink anymore and so don't go to pubs or anything like that so haven't been able to meet people easily. I also have chronic pain in my back so don't work meaning I can't make friends there either.

If this hasn't put you off then let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a huge nerd, enjoying board games, anime, movies/TV shows and painting miniatures. But my biggest nerd love is video games. I've been playing them as long as I can remember, having a ZX Spectrum and the original Nintendo when I was a kid (yes, I'm ancient). Although I love playing video games, I don't tend to play many online games as I mostly enjoy single player, story-driven games. But I do enjoy chatting to people when playing games or even screen sharing on my PS5 and having others watch me play or me watching others play while chatting.

Other things I enjoy doing which are not nerdy related are swimming, going to the beach, cinemas, listening to various different types of music, going for walks, reading and museums. I'd love to meet people who'd be willing to meet up in person and hang out watching stuff together, go for coffee together, go for walks in interesting places or play games together. But I'd also be interested to meet people online too, whether that's streaming movies together, playing some games together (I do enjoy co-op games a lot) or even just chatting away with like minded people.
