I’m doing a full listen through of Born This Way, and it got me thinking again. How the hell did this end up being the cover art? It’s one of the most unhinged album covers ever. Not just in her library. EVER. Obviously it’s ICONIC but there’s nothing objectively good about it. Like not one thing. Right? What are your thoughts?

Gaga brings another dimension to the Superbowl performance: Whilst Bad Bunny and Ricky Martin showcase their beautiful culture, Gaga demonstrates she/we can be part of it too. It's not about sitting back and appreciating other traditions/heritage, but immersing oneself in them to truly understand each other. The only thing stronger than hate is love!

"Scheiße" was first revealed to the public in January 2011 in the remix form.

If you're not a German speaker, you wouldn't assume that it the German was fake. So, people naturally wondered "WHAT was she saying?"

Well, the Internet provided "answers". All over, it said that the translation was something close to "I wish to be absolutely clear. I bear the name of Mother Monster and I was to keep you free from all the evil out there."

Did someone ever say that it was fake German? I'm sure someone did. But I spend a considerable amount of time looking up Gaga stuff and I never saw that.

It wasn't until May 2011, when the album version of the song was released and through reading the comments on YouTube that I learned that it was fake German.

I got crappy seats where I couldn’t see the main stage at all. The best few was probably the backstage. After she sang Hair I saw her going down the stairs backstage and she just sat there on the step for a good 30 seconds and it looked like she was crying. That song means a lot to me and I know to her. Seeing her like that I just balled my eyes out even more. She saved my life and I know when I saw her like that she is dedicated to her art. Those seats became the best seats for me and it was fun seeing the dancers practice and watching her get ready for her songs.
