I figured I'd post here, since Ms. Marvel fans might be interested in this.

I made a fan edit of the TV show, called "Ms. Marvel: The Jersey Cut." The short version is that the edit removes the Clandestine storyline from the show, so we have a streamlined two-hour origin story for MCU!Kamala. More emphasis was put on her being a mutant to achieve this. If you're interested, you can read about it on my post in the r/fanedits or I can provide a link.

I think the show was pretty cool, I like how we saw her powers used in Unique and Cool ways and how crazy they can be. I like that despite the dark time of the Show Kamala still retains her bright optimism. Honestly, I think the showcasing of her powers, and her personality was the bright spot for Kamala. I hope there's a season 2.

Since we don't have a discussion board going, let's make one! The spoilers will be unmarked, as if you're seeing this post, chances are you've already seen the episode. And away we go!

For any DnD/TTRPG nerds out there, Deborah Ann Woll (of Daredevil fame) will be hosting a new actual play on the Dungeon Dudes channel, and Kamala Khan herself (Iman Vellani) will be a player! Also joining the table are Anjali Bhimani, Jessica Henwick, Shaun Majumder, Monty Martin, Kelly McLaughlin, and Wil Wheaton.

It will release on the Dungeon Dudes channel on October 31, 2025

Spoiler alert obviously. Marvel Zombies will be 4 episodes.

Muneeba is set to appear in the 4th episode according to the press release, with Zenobia Shroff reprising her role. No mention of her dad and brother.

GIF 1: Explaining her origin, we see a freshly powered Kamala deliberate on what could she do with her powers, only to witness an accident with a tanker truck and an out of control bus...

"What do I do? What do I do? What do I do?"
It's just so cute the way she worries.

FYI this short was the only one that had my interest that I watched.

GIF 2: Kamala takes action but first she needs to say something heroic...

And that is...   "Uh...Get Big!"

"Get Big?" Note to self: if I'm gonna do this, I need something less dorky to yell like, "Hero up," 
or "Up and at 'em", 
or "Talk to the hand", 
or...

Kamala's is interrupted by an oncoming train.  Leaping over the tanker, she answers the hero call again, and this time chooses a more appropriate yell, 

"Embiggen!"  as she enlarges her hands to catch the train, and slow it down as it applies its brakes at the same time.

Plus, I like Kamala's "Why am I doing this?" just as she stops the train.

I can't be the only on thinking how Ms Marvel's hard light powers would be incredibly useful in a zombie apocalypse, they're definitely gonna nerf her somehow by making her unable to use her powers due to plot or something, she could make giant hands to easily kills zombies, create massive hard light walls or domes to keep her, Moon Knight (Blade), Yelena and Red Guardian safe.

I personally prefer her first suit as I like the homey feel it has with it being a gift from her mother giving it an emotional connection that the second suit is missing. The second suit has none of the special feeling behind it, it might look cleaner, but it's just a costume she gets from people she only knew for like, five minutes and have zero connection to. I also like the fact she has trainers for her footwear and that just makes it feel like something a teenager would in fact throw together. But what about you? What do you prefer?

You can put her into any show, at any point and any where you wish. It's all up to you.

Ms Marvel going to The Boys. She's so screwed, there is no way she'd last more than week in that universe. She'd be treated with suspicion by the most popular hero (Homelander) purely for being Muslim (even if he didn't know for sure, he'd most certainly assume and given what he said about Silver Kincaid 😬). Her best allies would be The Boys themselves, and she would hate them since they're all some kind of killer. She might get along with Starlight and Hughie at best but she'd be so traumatised seeing heroes just kill everyone with no remorse and knowing a literal NAZI was at one point, one of the most popular heroes AND still has followers even after biting off her own tongue to kill herself on her boyfriend's "birthday". Ms Marvel would also probably get murdered since she'd probably try to stand up to Vought and that would be a big no-no for Homelander who has been seen to just kill anyone for any reason whether that be a perceived slight to his ego, or just so they can't tell others that he's a monster. Also the fact he once murdered a man in front of a massive crowd and they cheered him on is kind of telling for how he's viewed in universe. And I'm gonna put her outside the TNT Twin's House in season 3 episode 6. If you know, you know. So she's gonna have to deal with a radioactive Solider Boy, who has the power to take away powers, though it might not work on Ms Marvel since she doesn't get her powers by regular means in The Boys universe so she's gonna be fine. But she'd still have to deal with a murderous rampaging granny banging cheap Captain America knock off who is essentially a walking Chernobyl and could easily go into melt down if he feels highly emotional. Yep, she's so screwed. So would Ms Marvel handle being in your show of choice? Hopefully better than mine.

Season 1 was the least watched MCU series on Disney+ and the Marvels had the lowest opening weekend in the MCU. Do you think that means we won’t get season 2 and will have to rely on seeing Kamala in other projects?
