Fan Art I hate sunrise
For turning sesshōmaru into a pathetic looser and a parody of himself. This also applies to kagome and the rest. Nice Job. Original sesshōmaru and kagome would never.

Naraku is the best depiction of an evil mastermind.
Muzan...not the best one for sure.

Anyone know any fanfics where Kagome comes clean to her modern friends about her whole situation? I think that could be an interesting plot point

Less trying to put Inuyasha in a place of saying something careless like the anime.

The episodes with Kagomes friends meeting Inuyasha and Miroku's promise to Shima I feel are some of the funniest episodes in the series. The tiny dialogues where Sango hits Miroku's head and he goes on carrying a conversation with a huge bump on his head, and how he understands Sango with her death stare and Kagome freaking out every time her friends interact with Inuyasha were so hilarious 😂 and then Kagome getting so involved with Miroku and sangos drama 😂😂
Sorry just wanted to mention!
What were other episodes people found hilarious? Usually filler episodes are boring but I've thoroughly enjoyed the filler in Inuyasha. They're so funny and light hearted

I watched Inuyasha on TV a decade ago and wanted to rewatch it, but I noticed that it has 7 seasons?? I only know the first two more or less, but I don't know what the others are about. I wanted to know if they're part of the story, just filler, a separate story within the universe, or something else. And yes, it's in Spanish, sorry (*﹏*;)
P.S. I'm not going to say the website because I'm afraid the mods will ban me, I'm only trying to enjoy the series :<

There was a filler I saw where kagome was wearing the monkey crown, i wonder when we get to that?
We're in a dead forest as moths attack

Gatenmaru?
OH I REMEMBER
Yeah just cut between art styles showing how good the older one looked
Lazer mouth beams miss inuyasha but hit everyone else
Kagome and everyone gets covered in moth webing

Are they gonna transform into moth people?
He calls out shippos name but not kilala
We're doing the episode where they also had their worst fears under a spell of some such. Like think that was the forest where kikyo fought kagome in.
Everyone knows what they're fears are. We've seen them time and again in canon.
Please let kagomes fear be her pet cat wnet into the--
Oh her worst fear is Naraku coming out of the well and entering her time
yeah yeah yeah we get it he a mothman transformed and--

But despite killing him while everyone is a sleep he births a new body from kagome and friends while in the cacoon.

And Sango kills kohaku, a sentence I never thought I'd say
And kohaku kills sango
Miroku's wind tunnel sucks in sango kagome and shippo aswell as himself
Shippo is chased by the one lizard guy he fought once but as an army
Kagome at school AND NARAKU'S HERE!
Again a filler nit-pick blades of blood only works if you're bleading, unless he cuts himself to do it.But it seems to be filler only this does
also blades of blood are what makes a decent cut in the caccoon
Oh do they all remember inuyasha and thats what wakes them up?

Oh nevermind he changes back to demon
everyone wakes up and breaks out.
Bleh
ED That one was bad. Thats in the running for the worst filler honestly. Most nothing ever thing. Repeat of something we did before and what it calls back to is nothing of nothings of a villian. Everything about it is boring

We went from fucked up forest to fucked up winter tundra
Young Miroku?
Miroku falls in the snow and meet koyuki before sango slapps him

Miroku and sango encounter a citizen being covered in snow. Also I felt like snow is rare if not non-existant here
And now it starts snowing...An inuyasha move in a snow filled backdrop would seems like a thing right? Different kind of energy.
Sango is caught in an illuion of the ice woman coming out and says she has mirokus kid and he walks off with her as sango calls out for him
kagome is given a special restorative, his words not might. Inuyasha and kagome and find sango pouring the substance down her throat to wake her up

Gross challange pissing
Not his kids but adopted kids from dead parents

the Stroker and hoop line from episode 5 where hoop gets in with Judd Winner wife and Stroker goes
"That son of a bitch That should be me!"
We turn back and miroku is under a spell and the child is just snow
Snow lady attacks and summons her snow beast to fight
Inuyasha is hit by the snow beast into the temple and the healing rays of the sun and inuyasha wake him from his dream
Miroku handles the demon but its souls go into the ice beast
That was cool, so I didnt think it was relevent but early one kagome was showing inuyasha sparklers so since the demon is weak to fight she had healing flask thrown out, hit by sango and set a blaze on the beast after she shoots a sparkler on it...Thats should be the coolest thing and somehow thet falls short. ButI will say it was fun to see.
Well...lets carry on
ED That was also kinda nothing. The later half of these are not showing any promise.

We're at the ED where they didnt want to licence "you are my dream" but thats okay.
You know whats funny, this gives a recap of what happened last epiosde where sailor moon im watching shows a recap of the episode you're going to see.
We have a demon worried she'll be marrying a demon.
a demon comes out koga style and puts the monkey king ring thing on her head
The demon pop the Miroku line in an evil way

This might be the one im thinking of.
We're off to save women from the demon
we found the cave very easily as a buncg of girls come and happy someone will slay the demon. But it seems like everyone can leave if they want.

This basicly from the konami E3 press conference
Miroku: if you have my kid the demon wont takes you
And the girl agrees....but also everyone does!
As sango breaks the tension becayse we need to fight this demon.
Inuyasha claims the demon will target kagome's smell .
You're just letting her be out there without sango?

Boar, kappa and monkey is the squad...
Journey to the west takj'
Boar: When a girl says "no" she means "yes"
And puts a thing on her head

And its easy to take off too. its called a diadem
It happens to miroku too before it finally gets on kagome.
Inuyasha figjhts him and he escapes with kagome.

Inuyasha manages to get the headband off her and we fight the boar again.
Kagome will be off to shoot the mainland sutra miroku had at...something.
Oh shooting the pig and it escapes.
We save the and...thats it
ED Yeah this should have been a better episode given it s premise. Like this more than the others. It got resovled so quick and nothing happened

Inuyasha was my first Rumiko Takahashi anime and manga. Come to think of it, it’s pretty much my only anime of hers. I did watch the entire Mermaid Saga anime around 20 years ago. Maybe more. I have absolutely no memories of it, so I don’t think that counts. But I have read most of her manga!
Imo Inuyasha has the most compelling characters, the best romance, the most gorgeous/fantastically-illustrated backgrounds, and the best overall plot. Inuyasha probably is my favourite Rumiko Takahashi series, but I also don’t think it’s her best one in the sense that it’s not her best-written. Arguably not even top 3. It’s a great manga, but it’s very flawed. I think the series dragged on around 200 chapters more than necessary. There were also so many repetitive plot points like: 1) Naraku’s bees, puppets, incarnations, and vanishing castles, 2) is-she-dead-for-real-or-not (Kikyo), 3) Inuyasha upgrading his tessaiga only for that upgrade to be made useless against Naraku shortly afterwards, etc. Lots of examples. The last 1/4 of Inuyasha felt fairly tedious to me. I was very ready for it to be over. Inuyasha is still my favourite Rumiko Takahashi series for so many reasons, but I don’t reread the manga nearly as much as I reread Ranma 1/2. Here are *some* reasons why Inuyasha is my favourite Rumiko Takahashi series:
It’s a 90’s isekai shounen featuring a female protagonist. Even nowadays, it’s rare to find a non-romance anime/manga with a female protagonist. Kagome is so important, historically speaking.
InuKag is my favourite ship in all of history
Fantastic world-building
Kikyo is my favourite female shounen character
Awesome cast of main, supporting, side, and background characters.
Very good and sometimes tragic examination of bias and discrimination between humans, half demons, and pureblood demons.
Very satisfying ending (I just ignore Yashahime)
Flawless blend of romance, action, and fantasy
Unique and fascinating weapons like Miroku’s wind tunnel and Sango’s giant boomerang
What about you? Is Inuyasha your favourite Rumiko Takahashi series or is there another you love even more?

https://youtu.be/IZYYhuNihYk?is=e37MiF-maf2i5dht Found this video, some knowledge on the anime is superficial but it shows the problem of the final act we all felt watching. The video also shows how sucessful Inuyasha was in 90s/00s in Japan and North America. Such a shame the ending was so rush and deserved more, even so, better what happened to Ranma. As a Anime fan for 20 years, this shows the problems and frustrations with the industry.

Funny quotes involving InuYasha and Kagome Higurashi.

One thing I never understood with Inuyasha was the apathy and just laid back attitude of Kagome's friends and family. I guess it's just the time during the present in Inuyasha.
I'm watching the episode where Kagome goes back to the present with an illness. No concern that it could be some disease from the past?

Sesshomaru’s feelings toward Inuyasha early on are full of contradiction. He rejects him as family but is also obsessed with measuring him. He calls him weak, yet repeatedly engages him. He resents that Tessaiga was left to Inuyasha, but that resentment itself proves Inuyasha matters in inheritance. Sesshomaru can‘t entirely reduce his brother to nothing because their father didn’t treat him as nothing. Inuyasha would become monument to their father‘s choice.
If you consider the third movie canon as the final factor that killed Inu no Taisho, then to Sesshomaru, his father died protecting something that proved insignificant later on. And Sesshomaru’s character before Rin revolves around rejecting the idea that compassion, human attachment, or emotional bonds can have power. Inuyasha’s sealing is proof of the danger of bonds. He’d think Inuyasha a bigger fool for allowing a human so close to his trust. In Sesshomaru’s head I think he’d be like: How dare something so lowly decide the fate of what belongs to my father’s bloodline?
