Digital art I made an alien out of bread! [OC]
I ran across a funny photo of a loaf and spent an evening painting over it to create an alien.

Liv3Fr33: Artist me, Brad Wells
Liv3Fr33 was conceptualized based on commissioned art from @FoggyMayMusic. While creating the art for Foggy May, I really enjoyed the process of creating a world that would span a few projects. During this process, I constantly thought about where these characters would live, where did they come from, and who are they? Do they have friends, what do they eat, what do they do for fun and so on. I was obsessed with this world.
In my mind they were a diverse collective of aliens from all walks of life with the main characters being the Hopi. The Hopi had created this Halo world as an escape from their own failing planet. They built two Halos before their planet stopped rotating due to a planetary anomaly where a very large rogue planet drifted into their gravitational field and hijacked the planet. It took nearly 50 years to finally slow down enough that life was no longer sustainable.
For the last 200 years, the Hopi have been drifting in space on Liv3Fr33 and SaygVn, studying planets they encounter and emulating their favorite worlds. Their encounter with Earth left a lasting impression. Earth's plant life, wildlife, architecture, and vibe could not be ignored. Earth's biomass was copied and recreated with a few tweaks here and there to help it survive on the Halo. Approximately 20 billion total life forms live on each halo with an ecosystem that supports life all the way down to the single-celled organisms. The largest inhabitants are the Baleano, reaching up to 60 feet in length.
This story doesn’t stop here! Thanks for continuing to read…. I will be releasing a series of illustrations that depict life on these Halos and will take tiny portions of the original drawing and zoom all the way in to show what's going on in that area. The illustrations will be 12” x 12” panels and will perfectly tie into the original art it was inspired by. I had the time of my life creating it and I look forward to creating much more in the future. Thank you.

My personal favourites are either the first one or the moon on its own! Did not know where else to share these. (Also, i did not put a signature on the earth drawing as it took away from its realism in a way).

A Spaceshiptember entry

Hi, I'm Itamar, and I'm a freelance illustrator.
I drop speed paints, usually about an hour long, on a daily basis. Sci-Fi is one of my favorite genres, but it seems I haven't done anything in outerspace since Spaceshiptember.
This piece is part of that challenge.

Finally had some time to do some work on the backgrounds for my upcoming game :) It's a very stylized rendition of space and I'm thinking about adding planets or asteroids maybe? I don't want to make it too crowded so we'll see!

I'd really love some opinions because I'm trying to find inspiration on whether or not I should pursue this realm of art any further.
Be brutally honest! Thanks for even looking. :)
Edit: To clarify for the bot, I am the artist that did these pieces.
